Now have Udi's GF buns! Very good about cross contamination.
First of all, the staff is very accommodating and caring about the gluten. I am Celiac’s and they offered me a gluten free bun and coleslaw as a side. I just ate there and it all looked clean but I’ll have to wait and see if they could actually avoid cross-contamination. The burgers are not the world’s greatest but definitely saves the day on a road trip! Will hopefully be back.
They had gluten free buns that came in it’s own individual bag and they were delicious! The burgers are gluten free but they have a warning that they are cooked on the same grill as those with regular buns. They have amazing custard and plenty of gluten free options! Their website has a whole section regarding gluten free options. Overall we were very happy to find this place!
The gf burgers come out on a separate tray from other food. If you want a gf bun (Udi), it's warmed in the wrapper for you to open and assemble. Fries are gf, but the oil is cleaned with the same filter as the other oil, so they say there is a chance of cc. The times I've been there, the cooks are trained well and very careful.
We are new to celiac so asked to talk with the manager. The staff marked our order as allergy, informed us that there was a separate fryer for fries, and the burger would be cooked on a separate part of the grill. The gluten free bun came warmed and packaged with the meat separate and all GF items on a separate ready. It was a successful first outing there and our daughter felt good afterwards.
Super friendly for GF ordering, has a seperate menu and the staff is well well well trained! The (guessing) 16 year old cashier that clearly hadn't worked there for long knew exactly which items I could order - gave me the warnings on fries not being gluten free and the obvious things. Then, went on to tell me they flag the order and a manager will bring it out. Solid training (good job store owner!), awesome food, good experience. 100% safe and a total repeat.
If you ask they have a gluten free bun and can also use a separate fryer for French fries. The front counter person didn’t know what I was talking about initially but the manager stepped in quickly and ensured we were taken care of. Great to have a place to take kids. Not ALL Culver’s have a separate fryer so you have to ask about that
Salads and burgers are great. Dedicated fryer but the oil is filtered with same as other fryers so contaminated.
My son enjoys coming here for a gluten-free cheeseburger with extra extra pickles and fries from their dedicated gluten-free fryer. He also loves their coolers and raspberry Sundays! I would definitely recommend it, only four stars because it is kind of pricey.
They always ask me if it's an allergy or a preference when I ask for a gluten free bun, showing they are aware of gluten allergies. I'm not sure how safe the fries are, or if the shakes are made in the same machine as the malts, but the burger is nice. I do wish the bun didn't come soggy though. I think they have to defrost it quickly but it still could be changed for the better.
This restaurant just opened. I had never been to a Culver's, but saw on their website that they have Udi's buns, so decided to give them a try. You get the heated up bun separate from the filling. They also have a dedicated fryer for the fries. They also have pot roast dinners with GF sides, which I haven't tried yet, but plan to soon.I think I'm in love!!!
Great place to go for a little fast food. Staff is really friendly and helpful about making things gluten free. Bun comes in a separate package which is great so it doesn't get contaminated! They have a little allergy pamphlet for you to pick up right when you walk in!
Celiac The first two times they were really new and it was when they were extremely not completely trained on Celiac but I just went there over the weekend and they were phenomenal. Was the first Burger I had a mans and I may just have to go back tomorrow
