Amazing - gluten free pasta, incredible food, most authentic experience in Italy during our trip. Served by Italian nonna and children spoilt with mandarins from the garden and treats

Terrible experience at this over-priced restaurant. Enquiring about a gluten-free menu was met with a slight eye-roll, for starters. The regular menu does spell out allergies including gluten, but there’s precious little choice which doesn’t make for a pleasing experience. Food was radically overpriced and distinctly average at best. Staff were rude and surly throughout and at the end when we asked to pay they tried to insist we pay in cash ‘because it costs us more to use the machine’. They then said they were having tech issues and made us wait 10 minutes before the machine miraculously started working. Terrible all round.

The service was amazing, the food even better. My husband had the fish of the day (sea bass) and said it was the best meal he has had in Italy. The caprese salad and bean soup were also amazing. No GF pasta but they did have packaged GF bread that was pretty good. Menu is clearly marked for many different allergens. If you are in the area, this family restaurant was highly recommended by our local guide and is a must-do.
