We stumbled upon Cupbop while exploring downtown Boise, located on a charming street that doesn’t allow cars, making for a lovely atmosphere. The area is vibrant, with restaurants spilling out onto the street, creating a welcoming environment.
I walked in with low expectations, assuming I wouldn't be able to eat here due to my dietary restrictions. However, when I asked to speak with a manager about allergens, I was pleasantly surprised. A young man, Connor (I think this is his name), who turned out to be the assistant manager, reassured me that he was well-versed in handling allergens. When I inquired further, he mentioned that he himself has celiac disease—what a relief!
Connor guided me through the menu options, and I ended up enjoying a bowl of rice, glass noodles, cabbage, Korean barbecue chicken, and sauce. My daughter had the same but with tofu. It was such a relief to find a safe meal. It’s a simple bowl- nothing too exciting.
Connor’s friendliness and understanding made the experience. His help was invaluable, and I’m very grateful. If you’re in downtown Boise, I highly recommend giving Cupbop a try!
