I love Cure. I think of it as a stylish bar that happens to serve food (which I haven’t tried). They make a delicious Old Fashioned which you can get for $6 during happy hour. If you’re eating on Freret be sure to stop in.

Fun drinks. No gluten free food, though. It's more bar than restaurant.

Great small plate options: warm nuts, bacon wrapped dates, gourmet frito pie, meats and excellent salads, among others.
