Absolutely loved my meal here! From the gluten free menu, I had the meatballs and the truffle tagliolini. Both were delicious, the best gf pasta I’ve had! Service was excellent, I highly recommend going here!

I'm from the US. Thousands of restaurants back home now have GF pizza. I have tried over 100 of them. With that being said, the pizza crust here at Da Garibardi is among the BEST I've ever had.

10 stars if I could. If you're celiac, don't miss this one! I got the handout fettecine with wild boar sauce (not something I would ever order normally), but I ordered it to branch out from pizza a bit and couldn't be happier that I did. They have a huge gluten free menu including dessert and they're certified AIC. Try it!

Heaven on earth. They have fried pizza dough as an app - best I’ve ever had. The crust on the pizza was amazing my husband couldn’t believe it was gluten free. I’m extremely sensitive and did not get sick. Going back for a second time tonight :)

I have celiac and am highly sensitive even to cross contamination. I can say with confidence that this place is amazing and very friendly toward GF. They have a separate GF menu. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the restaurant’s certification with Italy’s GF council. He quickly put me at ease and I ate with confidence. Ordered the burger, fries, and a GF beer. The bun was homemade and very delicious. He delivered homemade GF bread as well. A must visit for anyone who is desperate for a good, safe GF meal.

Lovely restaurant - ask for the gluten free menu. I ordered the parpadelle and asked for truffle sauce (combination not on the menu). It was absolutely delicious, better than even non gluten free pasta. There is a 2€ service fee per person though and at 13.50 for the dish, it's probably considered pricier for the area. Would definitely order again.

This place was so good, for my friends, and for me. We ended up coming back here more than once! They had the best GF bread I had in Florence. I had them pack it up for me so I could have it for my wine tasting later that day. My favorite items here was the deliciously cheesy eggplant parmesan, and the side of roasted vegetables. They also have a dedicated fryer. Our waiter was very attentive as well. Great experience, and close to the train station and Accademia Gallery.

Please, do yourself a favor and avoid this awful dining experience. I will say that my husband did not get sick, but his meal came out 40 minutes after everyone else had already eaten and had their plates taken away. Absolutely terrible—we even offered to have it be a ‘take away’ meal after all that time waiting, which they ignored but promptly came out with the meal. It was unbelievably awkward, the rest of the tables food was woefully average, and overall we left in a terrible mood. I will say his food was fine, but it was NOT the incredible dining experience we have had all throughout Italy.

Very attentive to gluten free. The bruschetta was good but a little salty. The gnocchi was okay but nothing remarkable. They brought out bread but you could taste and smell the vacuum sealed container it must have been in. Still a good option though, gluten people liked their meals. Not a bad price either. Tiramisu was very good though!

Incredible service (ask for Serena, she will take good care of you) and dedicated area in the kitchen for GF. Gnocchi was incredible. Also accommodating for dairy free. Homemade GF bread, my husband couldn't tell the difference with GF bruschetta we ordered. Wish I was staying in Florence longer so we could eat here again.

THIS WAS AMAZING! Myself (a non celiac) and a friend (celiac) split a full gluten free course and it was amazing. I have had multiple pizzas this trip and this is easily the best! Please try the cheese pizza, the appetizer with pizza dough, ricotta and meat (amazing!!!). Hands down a must for any celiac or non gluten eater (they have separate menus)
