Daebak Korean BBQ

I went for my birthday. Our server was maybe new and not super knowledgeable about gluten free. But he answered all my questions, even if i had to clarify a few things. Only one of the three sauces they give is gluten free. A lot of marked as gluten free but there’s some things they said actually can’t be made gluten free even if they were marked… we ended up ordering S8 corn cheese, which they actually said couldn’t be made gluten free but then they actually were able to. S9 Japchae can be made gluten free only if you get the veggie. Both of these appetizers were yummy! We also ordered the A2 and A3 pork and beef combos. They made a salad for me without the gluten. Only 2 of 5 of the little appetizers things i was told were gluten free. The soup and steamed egg both was told are not gluten free either. The meats were very good. I didn’t care for the one gluten free sauce. I think it was sesame oil. Overall, it was plenty of food for 5 people. If you go, make sure you ask lots of questions to clarify what you can and cannot eat. Wouldn’t recommend for someone with a serious allergy.
