The gluten free pizza was not the best I've had. But it also wasn't bad. The waitress that helped us was great and very accommodating! I was there for a work party, so everyone else had non-gf pizza. I was a bit worried about contamination, but they brought my pizza out in a separate tin foil pan and put it on a different table. They even brought me ice cream for dessert while everyone ate brownies. I did not get sick at all! The pizza is celiac safe, but I cannot speak for any of the other food.
GF pizza was so-so, kind of bland. came served in a pie tin so felt like it was cooked safely. service was slow & place pretty empty on Tues night. Place offers a balloon artist for kids who did a great job.
Gluten free pizza is great, plus you can add whatever toppings, but don't get the chicken tenders.
Ugh! I really wanted D'Agostino's to be our neighborhood weekend spot. We ordered the GF cheeseburger and chicken parmesan sandwich, both with fries. The server said they had a separate fryer for GF. My husband woke up this morning with a terrible gluten reaction. It was either the fries or lots of cross contamination. Unfortunately, not going back.
I have a major gluten sensitivity. Had their GF pizza without issues. A week later, tried their GF burger with fries. Oh boy was I hurting for the next week. I don't think the fries were cooked in a separate fryer (or their was bad x-contamination).
Completed the Dr. Schar Bonta D'Italia Gluten Free Restaurant Program. Full staff training, dedicated workspace, fryer, grill and pasta water. Celiac Friendly.
OMG this is one of the worst restaurants I've been to in a long time. My comment is based solely on the horrible, unprofessional service. I went Saturday in with some friends at a reserved table to watch the UFC fights and were there approx. 4 hours. I and the people I was with each ordered non-alcoholic drinks. The whole evening I got literally 1 refill and I actually had to ask my server for it. This after he refilled my friends drink which was right next to mine. My glass was EMPTY. Any server knows to just offer to refill a drink or at least ask if you want another one. We would have most likely ordered more items if the guy would have come around more often. You'd think that from a business perspective that getting customers to spend money is your mission statement. Never-mind earning a tip... Next we ordered chicken wings. When they arrived they came with NO napkins or utensils. As I looked around the restaurant at other tables I saw that this was the case for everyone. I had to walk over to the bar to request napkins because my server's presence was far and few between. When he did come back it was to take other orders in that area. Again no refills but what was worse was the fact that he left the chicken bones as well as other dirty plates at the table for most of the evening. Again we were there for 4 HOURS! A little while later I heard the manager speaking my server and stating that table #25 required service. The servers response was to state loudly enough for me and other customers to hear "What the F**K! Why won;'t those F**kin' people leave?! I couldn't believe it. You'd expect the manager to pull the guy aside and reprimand him for his behavior but that didn't happen. This tells me that the culture among the staff is poor from management on down the chain. Very unprofessional... He was also very rude, short, and flippant each time we inconvenienced him enough to actually ask him to serve us. This was a horrible dining experience! To be treated so poorly is inexcusable.
Their GF pizza is excellent! It's not that premise Udi's crust you get most places. It says it's a 10" pizza but seemed bigger and had a thicker crust so was filling. Two people can share it. Their GF chicken tenders, burger and fries are also really good! The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because our server was not very knowledgeable on the menu. I asked for a sandwich that was not on the gf menu but all the ingredients were normally gluten free and asked if I could get it on a gf bun instead. She said it would still contain gluten and wouldn't ask the kitchen about it.
Good food & not the run of the mill gluten free items, breaded chicken parm, and pasta w/spiral pasta, breaded chicken sandwich and fries, as well as pizza. It would be nice if the server was more engaged and not such a space cadet. If I tell you repeatedly I have a gluten intolerance, why would I want gluten filled soup, or gluten filled croutons?
The pizza is soooo good!! Pizza deserves 5 stars. I tried it with hamburger and onions. Loved the crust. The chicken tenders were a disappointment because I thought they would be crunchy but they were only breaded and kind of oily or greasy. But the honey mustard was to die for.
Went there Friday night. Ordered a gluten free pizza and gluten free chicken tenders. The server acted like he didn't want to be there. So we get our food. The chicken tenders look awesome. I asked our server if these were gluten free. He says yes. My son and I keep eating. The pizza did not come out. The server comes with the pizza and I asked again. Are you sure these are gluten free. Again he says yes. Well then he comes back to the table and says no I'm sorry they are not gluten free. I was ready to flip. I did keep my cool. However you would think the manager would come by the table immediately. Nope didn't happen. The waiter asked is there anything he could do. Mine is a food allergy so I asked for Mountain Dew to keep my airway open. Gluten affects my son's stomach. He wasn't feeling well by the time I got home. The server says he took the chicken tenders off the menu. The wrong chicken tended were removed. However the gluten free ones were not. I had ask to speak to a manager. One would think because of the big screw up they would have also comped the rest of the bill. Which was a small gluten free and two sodas. I'm very upset in how the whole issue was handled. I do hope one of the owner's reads this. I picked this place because it said they were trained in gluten free. Apparently something went wrong.
