Very good food. Have gluten free pasta and gnocchi available. They are very good about cross contamination. Very knowledgeable staff. The waitress was concerned about the cider coming from a barrel that may have beer traces from previous batch so gave me the option of having it in the can.
This is a great place to go with friends and rack up a big GF bill and graze delicious flavors for a few hours. Lots of options, knowledgeable staff and fancy drinks! You will have to make a deposit to get a reservation, but it will be credited on your bill. Totally worth it!
I cried HAPPY TEARS eating here. The waiter (mine was a bartender, ate at the bar), was SO attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Asked what my allergies were, asked if cross contamination is an issue for me (it isn't). Then walked me through the whole menu.
I had the zucchini and carrot salad, which sounds boring but may have been the best first bite of food I've WVER had. Then I also had the lamb sugo. And HOLY MOLY their GF pasta!?!! It's the best I've ever had. Like had to ask if this was really GF. It was al dente. Had a really lovely tooth sinkable gnocchi like texture. I seriously cried eating this!
Skipped dessert bc I can't do dairy much either, great craft cocktails tho.
I have celiac but without GI symptoms so I don't usually review, but this place was great! The waitress asked if anyone at the table had allergies first thing and then crossed off the couple things on the menu that can't be made gf so it was almost like having a separate gf menu. She knew what celiac was and said they can make the remaining dishes celiac safe. Also everyone who brought food to the table confirmed what they had was gf. And finally the food was delicious! Will definitely be back
I am so glad I went to Daisie’s after reading the other reviews on here! It was so delicious, very celiac friendly and the staff is super knowledgeable. I also appreciated that I could indicate that I had celiac disease when I booked my reservation on tock and they were all over it . They greeted me with a gf menu and also discussed preparation etc. Go hungry cause it’s delicious. I didn’t get offered gluten free bread or remember to ask for it to make the famous onion dip possible, but now I have another reason to go back! Seriously one of the best meals and experiences I’ve had in a while. Also highly recommend the mushroom margarita.
such a wonderful experience!!! staff is so knowledgeable and they can make a lot of the menu gluten free. gluten free items are prepped in a separate part of the kitchen. here is a picture of the menu our waitress marked up for us! the onion dip is gluten free but the chips are not, but you can request gluten free bread (so good)! they offer 1 shape of gluten free pasta and gf gnocchi. highly highly recommend!!!
This was the best Italian place I have visited since being diagnosed as celiac. They had quite a few options and on top of that the pasta was actually shaped like the gluten pasta. I had gluten free gnocchi which was incredible. They even had multiple dessert options that were gluten free and everything was delicious. Definitely will be going back and the server we had was so knowledgeable.
I had a lovely meal with my husband here. I used to really enjoy daisies before finding out I have CD. While there weren’t a lot of options for me, the food that I had was delicious. I had the roasted cabbage, and a risotto special that they were having. The wait staff was very knowledgeable and I did not get sick!
Daisies has fantastic gluten free pasta options and will cook the pasta separate from their gluten options. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about Celiac. Best gluten free pasta in the city (gnocchi!). Lots of starter and dessert options for Celiacs (gluten free bread). A bit pricy but excellent.
