I ate here tonight with some French friends who were very impressed, it was way the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to anywhere in the UK, even home made paneer! Whole restaurant is gluten free and accredited with Coeliac Society, fantastic to have no worries about contamination. Highly recommend even to non coeliacs.

First time in Dahkin today and the food and service was first class. I felt really safe as it is 100% Gluten free and other allergens are all marked up on the menu. The 3 foot Dosa was quite a spectacular site and it didn’t disappoint. It was lovely to have a curry with dosa. So much to choose from on the menu. Can’t wait until my next visit.

There is a sign outside the main door with the logo of the UK Celiac Association marking this restaurant as safe. At the very top of the menu in the first page it tells you it is a dedicated gluten free restaurant.

I still asked some questions, and they were all answered very respectfully. They are able to accommodate different dietary requirements as well, i could have chosen between a meal that was dairy free or vegan. I choose a vegan option during my visit. Other options too, but dairy is my secondary concern for food restrictions.

The meal was delicious, and it was wonderful ordering something that could easily be cross contaminated and knowing that were was no way that it was. I felt very safe eating here with a gluten free diet.

Staff were very friend and answered all my questions respectfully.

My first meal in Glasgow was at @dakhinglasgow which was warming, delicious, and awakened my senses for an incredible adventure in Scotland. I began with papadums which came with spicy sauces, a lovely starter. Then to the mamsam(lamb) pepper fry, outstanding with a pretty intense heat. I wanted more! Then to mamsam nilgiri w/mimmakai annam. A beautiful dish that settled me down after a spicy dish. Impeccable service as well. One must remember that in Europe meals are not rushed. I was here for 1 1/2 hrs and it was so relaxing.

Divine meal every time! Nothing they sell except beer has gluten in it so you can relax. Completely different to your usual Indian restaurant and worth going back over and over again to try everything on the menu!

Dakhin, in the Merchant City area of town, is a fabulous South Indian restaurant boasting an almost entirely gluten-free menu. Their varied menu features chicken, pork, prawn and vegetable dishes of varying flavors and spices. Sides include dosas and uttapams, made with naturally gluten-free rice and lentils, and steamed rice. Everything on the menu is full of flavor and extremely delicious. If you eat here with a group of people, order a huge dosa for the table.
