Dallas Grilled Cheese Co. (Mockingbird Station)

The manager told me that they have gluten-free bread but they take no precautions and have no knowledge of what is gluten free in the kitchen beyond that. They told me that there is absolutely nothing safe there for a Celiac to eat. I had eaten successfully several years ago at their other location but apparently things have changed and the management has changed. Very disappointing and they weren't even particularly nice about it.

Every sandwich can be made on GF bread, and it is actually pretty nice bread. None of their sides are GF, though, including the house made chips. Would be nice if there was a good side option.

I just called to ask about GF options before going and they said they only have GF bread and do not clean the grill before making a GF sandwich. They consider it gluten “sensitive” not GF so I didn’t go.

Love this!! They grill the gluten free bread on a separate grill and take precautious to keep it separate! AND the food is good!! I’m so excited to have a place where I have OPTIONS!
