First off. Nearly a 100% GF menu. The food was amazing. The best middle eastern food I’ve ever tasted.

This place is one of our go-to favorites. The food is always delicious, and the atmosphere is unique. The staff are knowledgeable about gluten and other food allergies. Our group once consisted of three people with allergies (wheat, sunflower and dairy): we were all able to find multiple choices of yummy, safe food to fill our bellies. They currently offer a veggie plate as a substitute for bread. My wish is that they will someday offer gluten-free pita bread so I can more easily eat every last scrumptious drop of the baba ganoush.
So amazing. They were very friendly and understanding of my family’s gf needs. They brought veggies for the hummus. My kids loved the hummus, chicken, beef kebabs, rice, and salad. I ate way more than I should have. Also, the Lebanese white wine was perfect. My family has a found a new pdx favorite!

Very nice people and great food! Everything is gf except the bread. They bring veggie sticks to substitute for the bread. I've eaten here safely multiple times.

One of my new favorite restaurants in Portland! The food was incredible. I have celiac disease and the majority of the menu is naturally gluten free. The only item containing gluten is the pita, and one dessert. They understand cross contamination. And the meat is halal!!! The lamb shank was incredible and the falafel might be the best I’ve ever had :) can’t wait to try their brunch and happy hour. They also have gluten free tabouli! It was amazing.

Absolutely love Dar Salam. Some of my favorite food in town. Everything is gf except for the bread. Eaten here 20+ times and never had an issue. Owned by very nice people and I will always recommend to friends gf or not. Lots of vegan options as well.

This is our new favorite restaurant! My partner has celiac and has never had an issue here. Everything here is GF except the flat bread and desserts but they are very careful about avoiding cross contamination
When I asked the owner if the salad dressing was gluten free (which it is), she immediately offered me additional carrot sticks & cucumbers, as well as my own bowl of oil&vinegar (I don't know the fancy name) because I couldn't have the flatbread.
The menu indicates which items are gluten-free/vegetarian/(I think) vegan! ^_^
We had the lamb khema. Everything was AMAZING.

Finally, the correct flavor and consistency of Arabic food in Portland! The hummus is amazing! My plate was served with lots of veggies to dip in the goodness! Vegan and gluten free! Owner is so sweet! We will be back! The meat is halal! So hard to find gluten free, vegetarian and halal! This place has it and it is delicious!
Menu easily breaks down vegan and gluten free options making this an easy place to eat with many options. They offer extra sliced veggies in place bread.
We enjoyed everything we ordered. Mezza platter and eggplant stew with the platter being the better of the two.
Nice outdoor seating for a sunny day.
OMG GOOD!!!!!! Almost everything is gluten free and tastes soooo good. Gluten free fryer!
