gluten free and flour free options available. delicious & high quality food, prices a bit higher but definitely worth every penny. This small cafe is placed within the premises of the shop „das Gramm“ and they offer a small range of breakfast, cakes/baked goods and afternoon snacks & treats. They do have gluten free bread and some of the baked goods are prepared without any flour at all, however, they do not have a dedicated kitchen area and the waitress informed me, that although great care is taken when preparing the gluten free bread towards hygiene, they do not guarantee no cross-contamination (so sufferers from severe allergies might be cautious).I’ve had a gluten free (buckwheat) bread with tomato-hummus topped with sprouts and pesto. They offer it as a „Jausenbrot“ which is served like a sandwich, and they also offer it as a breakfast with a bit more sides (veggies). The bread is tasteful and juicy, the crust is quite firm but it is soft in the middle. The topping was a generous helping and very filling (especially due to the pesto). Portion size is satisfying and it is good value for money.I’ve spoken to the owner of the cafe about food intolerances and dietary requirements, she is very knowledgeable and considerate and answerd all my questions patiently.I’ll definitely recommend this place due to the high quality of their products and their general philosophy regarding food and healthy eating. However, I want to point out one more time that sufferers of severe allergies should judge for themselves, if they want to give it a try.
