Absolut empfehlenswert. Es gibt nicht nur eine glutenfreie Karte (übrigens auch eine laktosefreie und vegane Karte), auch ist das Essen sehr, sehr lecker und das Ambiente gemütlich.

There is a separate Gluten free menu in both English and German. The menu is huge. Food comes out flagged with a marker saying Gluten free. I had the schnitzel, French au gratin style potatoes, and salad. Incredible food.

A great place to go. A dedicated GF menu is available. My daughter loved the GF Schnitzel with mashed potatoes as a main course following a great shrimps appetizer. Very friendly service. Highly recommended.

Incredible experience and 100% celiac safe. They even have little flags they put in the gluten free entrees so they don’t accidentally get cross contaminated! I’ve been dying to try Schnitzel and a German beer since I got here, and my dream finally came true!!

Im Kartoffelhaus gibt es für jede Allergie eine eigene Speisekarte, sodass jeder genau weiß, was er essen kann. In Freiburg derzeit die einzige Location für Zöliakie-Kranke, in der man so sicher sein kann, dass man das Essen verträgt. ...Essen schmeckt wunderbar, alle Rezepte sind mit Kartoffeln zubereitet (Auflauf, Pommes, Kartoffelsalat, Rösties, Bratkartoffeln usw.)
