Though my non-celiac friends love Davenports and have nothing but good things to say about the food there, I would not recommend for celiacs. I ordered a Caesar salad, made note of Celiac/gluten allergy, and received a salad with one crouton in it. Unfortunately, I realized this a few bites into the salad.

It's a classic New England restaurant and has a gluten free menu . I ordered a sandwich and cole slaw. The food was OK but definitely not gluten free and worth the suffering after.

Limited GF menu but affordable, good food. There are regular menu items that can be modified if you ask. They’ve recently expanded their GF menu and seem to be paying closer attention.

They are very cautious. No gf fryer. I have taken the risk on fried items like potato skins and I get sick. They will offer to bake instead of fry certain items. Their gf menu is very limited. More option could be made gf, but they haven’t bother to look closely or make modifications where necessary. Never a bad meal, just wish there were more options.

They have a very small menu. I saw a review that they offered gf rolls with butter. Well don’t order that because it is literally a toasted burger bun and it’s an extra cost. I will recommend the gf brownie sundae that was the best thing they offered.
Limited menu but gf buns for burgers are good size and texture and they have sliced bread for the turkey club. Love the Portuguese Kale soup! I eat here often
They have a GF menu and were very accommodating. Brought warmed bread while we waited for the meal. Didn't ask what it was but tasted like Udi's. GF menu has a fair amt of choices. I am also vegan and GFV choices were minimal, but this is typical.

Great GF pizza, they offer GF rolls and butter but it is an extra charge

GF chicken and kale ravioli are the best! Just had a GF turkey sandwich with toasted bread and that was excellent also. Limited menu, but very good food.
even has two desserts now and gluten free cidar on tap
DO NOT ORDER HERE IF HIGHLY SENSITIVE!!! I ordered from the East Providence location, a plain burger with a gluten free bun. Within minutes I was having a reaction, I can only assume due to cross contamination. The salad I ordered with this was inedible because they put croutons on it. Their website advertises gluten free & mentions not being “100% gluten free”
I would not recommend this for anyone with gluten sensitivities.

Wasn’t a fan. Didn’t even have anything with gluten and still got sick from cross contamination
