Loved this place. Our first trip. Our waiter, Michael, was very friendly and aware of Gluten allergy issues. Evidently the owner’s wife had a gluten allergy also. The menu is clearly marked either gluten free (GF) and available gluten free (AGF) choices. Loved the French dip on a GF bun. There’s also a GF dessert. We will return!
Menu is very extensive. I tend to rate the restaurant on how my daughter feels about her choices, if she actually likes the food, and most importantly if she has a negative reaction after we leave. That being said, she liked her choices, enjoyed the meal and had no adverse reaction. This restaurant is safe for a celiac diner to eat at.
I was once a regular here as the owners wife does not consumer gluten and they kept a kitchen stocked with gf buns and pasta, however the past year they have really dropped the ball. I was outright glutened a year ago after being given the wrong bun even though I mentioned my allergy and reconfirmed when they brought the food to the table. I tried again more recently and even though I mentioned my gluten allergy and the specific item that I couldn’t have from the meal I ordered they still brought a churassco steak with a regular garlic bun on the plate. I think their quality of staff and servers has led to it no longer being a safe place to eat for anyone with gluten sensitivity as they don’t seem to have even the most basic of training.
I was going out on a whim going here after the mixed reviews, but it worked out good and I wasn’t sick at all. I let the waiter know before hand and they pointed out there was a symbol for the gluten free ones and another symbol for the ones that could be made gluten free. I got a wrap made gluten free and a side of green beans both were good.
This is my “go to” place when we’re in Lake Worth. They have a gluten free menu and offer Udi’s buns. I really enjoy the mani mahi sandwich with a side of vegetables. I’ve eaten there 3 times without getting sick. I am very sensitive & have to be very careful about cross contamination.
My husband and mother-in-law also likes this place. They do not have issues with gluten. Salads look fantastic. My mother-in-law has a shrimp salad. My husband has had the buffalo chicken wrap, fries, and chicken fingers and gives them a good review. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Dave’s has a separate page on their menu for gluten free items. I let our server know I was interested in gluten free. She was very helpful and accommodating (and very friendly!) We had the grilled buffalo wings and grilled shrimp with rice noodles. Excellent! Very flavorful. In addition, I enjoyed the Green’s tripel blond ale as well.
The staff was not knowledgeable AT ALL! The hostess didn’t even know there was a gluten free menu (despite it being the last page of the regular menu), there were fried options listed on the G.F. menu but they didn’t have a designated fryer, and the waitress couldn’t grasp the concept of needing the shaker cup cleaned before drinks were made. My food was burnt, my husband’s steak was so raw it was still blue inside, and the waitress avoided us when this was called to her attention. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. So bummed! We actually went out of our way to go here because all the other reviews made it seem so great!
This place is excellent. There are so many GF options available including sandwiches, wraps, burgers, fries and spicy chips. The owner's wife is GF so the servers are all very knowledgeable. I should mention that there was a near disaster with my order in that my sandwich came on regular bread, which I would have eaten if I hadn't taken the time to finish my appetizer. Thankfully, our server came rushing over and told me about the mix-up before I had eaten anything. Based on my experience, I would suggest having your server double-check the order after it is delivered to your table.
have gone multiple times and will go again. Sometimes you have to be VERY specific with certain wait staff to ensure they u derstand the extent of sensitivity but thus far all issues have been resolved and I've not had reactions. The grilled wings are great and while the seared tuna itself was awesome, the salad itself was lacking as the lettuce was just badly cut iceberg with lots of hard spots. eh, some people dig that.
Friendly staff and a gluten free section of the menu (back page of main menu).
Great find in Lake Worth. One of owners is GF so lots of options - pasta, wraps, dessert, even beer (Red Bridge). And tons of amazing fresh seafood on the raw bar menu!
