This is by far the best gluten free restaurant in Austin (and possibly all of Texas). The menu is entirely gluten free. I’m obsessed with the chicken and cheese quesadillas. I’ve been here at least 50 times and have never once got glutened. After 10 PM, the menu is pretty limited. Just be warned, this place gets packed on the weekend, so if you plan on eating here during peak hours, book a table in advance.

5:30 pm on Saturday is a 30-45 minute wait. Pro Tip: order to go. Thinking $4.50 was for one taco, we each ordered 2 tacos, carnitas. We received 4 (!) covered dishes of carnitas with strong onions, and a stack of blue corn tortillas. Delicious and not at all oily. With such a limited menu, there is no need to fear cross contamination.

Celiac (severe) - I've eaten here twice and really enjoyed the food both times! I was even more pleased that I didn't get sick! Drinks and service are great (strong). Restaurant is HOT.. fans going but no circulation.. so ask for seating inside (ac) or under a mister to be comfortable.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant, was super light and airy to sit in on a Sunday afternoon. Went to try it with my grandparents, who are a big support system since my diagnosis, both of them absolutely loved it. We felt like we could just relax, the service was absolutely amazing and so welcoming. They reassured me and my grandparents that they are celiac friendly with blue corn tortillas. My grandmother, who has supported me so much since my diagnosis, loved it. Just a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the fresh air and some good food!

Tasty queso and chips and shrimp and carnitas tacos. Margaritas were good but not the best I’ve ever had. Atmosphere was great; there was about an hour wait at 630pm on Friday.

I would recommend this place to anyone looking for some good tacos. I had Camarones Pibil, Carnitas, & Pollo tacos. The taco shells are made from blue corn. We sat inside, such a great authentic atmosphere. I will be going back. I had no problems eating the food.

I really enjoyed my barbacoa taco, but my friends had trouble finding anything without cilantro. (Anything but the quesadilla can be done sans cilantro if you ask.) I’ll be back for more. Yum.

This place is excellent. Small menu but EVERYTHING IS GLUTEN FREE! It has a really cool vibe inside, and the food was really good. Barbacoa taco and watermelon Agua Fresca were stand outs

While the restaurant is fully GF on premise, the proteins are made in a shared commercial kitchen that also has a bakery. We verified with the manager on duty.

That said, my celiac suffering fiancee did not get glutened.

Ordered to go after confirming with staff that all food items are gluten free. They do serve gluten containing beer, so very little risk of cross contamination. We had the chips and queso, carnitas tacos, pollo tacos, and tried 1 carnitas quesadillas. The meats had good flavor and a bit of crispy texture which was nice. The meats were packed separately in cups which meant the tortillas (also packed separately) did not get soggy. The chips were fresh and warm. The blue corn tortillas are a bit thicker than normal tortillas and seem hand made. Did not get sick and the food was delicious.
