Was so excited to try this place based on the good reviews on Yelp & Google, but it was less than mediocre. I got the pulled pork nachos (the only safe GF option I could suss out from the confusing menu), and it was a pile of cold store-bought tortilla chips topped with dry & lukewarm pulled pork with insufficient mediocre sauce and then covered with gobs of cold processed cheese sauce. Tasted like day-old stadium food and I felt nauseated halfway through and couldn't finish it. The tiny side of lukewarm baked beans was better, but still mediocre. Staff was not super helpful or friendly--not rude, but definitely not what I expected from a locally owned place. Were there 30 minutes after they opened and there was only one other customer, so being busy or close to closing time were not excuses for the lack of temperature/freshness.
Based on this visit, totally confused about how they have won so many awards and good reviews. I guess the bar for BBQ in Toledo really is that low.

Terrible service with rude workers, the food isn't great either. There were several hard pieces in my pulled pork and there wasn't enough sauce. Would not go back.

This was amazing! All of their sauces and dry rubs are gluten free, as are their homemade dressings. my dining companion had ribs, which were amazing, she said. I had their Toledo Dog, which is a beef hot dog topped with their crazy good pulled pork, with a thick slice of in house smoked bacon, which was the best bacon I've had in my life! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their product, and the food arrived quickly. I can't wait to come again!!!!!
