Review of DeGrand's Family Restaurant

Update: 02/03/24 Ditto to my past report. Still doing very well. Staff may change periodically (it’s a small town). If your server seems unsure, just ask them to consult with their supervisor.

Update: 08/15/22 Much better consistency. Staff really on the ball now. Clam chowder is always a good choice! No problems after multiple visits this past summer! Manager/owner is often present.

Original post from 05/??/22 Overall not bad, but results can be inconstant. Mostly the typical items: buns, 10-inch pizza, salads, meats, etc. Some staff very knowledgeable; others not so. For best results, be patient, understanding & polite when inquiring. Specify “celiac” or “Medical based gluten allergy” (differentiate yourself from just being a “ no-gluten-snob”). This is a local, hometown establishment that will try to bend over backwards for GOOD customers.
