We had heard great things about Delancy’s and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately the entire family got sick. At first I thought it was a gluten reaction but I am the only one with celiac in the family. There was definitely some food safety issues going on that day because if it was gluten, only one of us would have been sick.
Went there for a birthday celebration. We had 10 people.
Spent a lot of money and very disappointed. My chicken was so dry on my salad I could not eat it. Couldn't give it my grandson, 4, for fear he'd choke it was so dry. Others in our party said their food was burnt. It was so loud in there you couldn't have a conversation. Tables were inches apart from each other. Long wait for anything. Waitress was not very attentive. Had to order wine twice, because they forgot. they skimp on the wine too. Nothing good to say about this place. We left and went elsewhere for dessert. I never do reviews, but I hate to see others disappointed at this place. Will not go back.
Great food and knowledgeable staff. Love that gf options are listed on their actual menu.
