Stopped in on a Tuesday and tried the Taco Tuesday special. So good! Two tacos, rice and beans with chips and homemade salsa. Salsa was bomb, everything was very fresh. Very good tortillas, too.

No GF menu, but our server was helpful in finding options for us. The staff was friendly and we were happy to find this place in a town where a lot of businesses are closed down.

No separate gluten free menu, however the waitress asked the kitchen a couple of questions I had. I enjoyed the Mushroom Swiss Chicken breast, salad bar and baked potato. Great food and no reaction.

As a person with Celiac, I was looking for a place that I could eat safely at. Saw this place was recommended and ordered the chicken and steak fajitas. I'm happy to say I did not get A reaction and the people I spoke to knew what they were talking about. Though they did put a pirtha(maybe?) in the same bag as the chips. Otherwise the food did not have any cross contamination. Not sure if it'd call this Celiac safe after one meal but it is safe to eat at if you tell them and they are careful.

Okay, people, Del’s may not be top of mind when seeking gluten-free dining in Tucumcari, but this restaurant needs to be noted for its gluten-free options. The staff could not be more helpful and pleasant, and they really do know which items are gluten-free even if they don’t have a gf menu. The grilled chicken breast, for example, and I believe also the chopped sirloin (and other steaks), along with baked potato, salad bar, and probably some of the Mexican dishes although I didn’t ask about those specifically. I just give them credit for their knowledge and for providing tasty options. The grilled chicken really was quite good, and I had the chopped sirloin (I’m not gluten-free, my wife is) and without the gravy it would be gf. I was extremely happy with the way I was treated and just having DECENT gf options in Tucumcari would have been fine, but the food was delicious and service outstanding! This should be on the list.
