We've been to Dempsey's before with 2 people with celiac and 1 with a wheat allergy and we had no issues. They do have gluten-free hamburger buns. The person with a wheat allergy has eaten there numerous times without issue. Tonight, both the celiac person and wheat allergy person that went had reactions from cross-contamination. It seems to be hit or miss whether it is safe or not, so we will not try it again. They were not very busy when we went today, but they have been busy on the previous occasions, so that doesn't seem to be a factor in whether or not there is cross-contamination. The fries are cooked in a shared fryer, and they were clear that those were not safe.
