I saw a gluten-free list of foods from Dickey's online so I figured I would try it out. I got to the store and told the person working I had celiac disease. They didn't know what celiac was, so I reworded it as "gluten allergy" (I know, I know) and asked if they knew which menu items were gluten free. They still had no idea what I was even talking about and looked at me like a deer in headlights. Oh well, this is common, but regardless, a lack of knowledge = a lack of safety in most cases. I stupidly ended up just going off of what the online list said was safe (pulled pork, baked beans, baked potato casserole). I'm incredibly sick today. I knew better but still just wanted to share my experience. Do not recommend if you have celiac disease. The meat was also cold, and it just didn't taste good anyway.
