Great gluten free find!! Sausages (bratwurst) with mustard, cabbage, and they have GF bread. Good wine and great outside atmosphere.
Wonderful lunch spot in Nuremberg. No gluten free menu but staff is very knowledgeable. I had 6 Nuremberg sausages in a wine and onion broth with carrots. They brought me a basket of gluten free bread that was just right for dipping in the soup. They had a lemon gluten free cake but I did not try it.
Had dinner here twice, without reaction. Ordered the Nürnberger brats with sauerkraut both times. They offer gluten free bread. I also had the gluten free almond cake. The chef is celiac so I felt good about eating here. They seemed to have a good understanding when I asked about procedures and ingredients. I didn’t feel like they were annoyed! The cake was good, it didn’t have any flour, it was crushed almonds and butter and I don’t remember what else! But it was really moist and not too sweet.
We randomly came across this restaurant and were very happily surprised that the staff was very knowledgeable about which dishes could be prepared gluten free. We could even heard the chef tell the waitress to make sure to mark it in the order so he can really make sure to prepare it gluten free. The menu is not very big but has enough options with all the gf tapas and they’re all very tasty. The cherry on top was that they actually had two types of gluten free bread to serve with the german style tapas.
