The menus were Printed so that they don’t signify what is gluten free. I ordered prime rib which they assured me was gluten free but 20 minutes after came back to my table and told me it wasn’t. I ordered a steak which was tough and grisly. They have no designated fryers, no gluten free bread. They make no attempt to accommodate a gluten free restriction. They will sautee a plain piece of fish or chicken with nothing on it and you can get salad and pay for a side of the veg of the day. Poor choices.

Pretty good experience! A lot of items are already naturally gluten free. I had the Seared citrus sesame Salmon Carpaccio which was already gluten free as is and it was delicious! Scallops are great and a lot of the sides were gf as well. No dedicated frier :(

Had an excellent experience here. Plenty of gluten free options clearly marked on the menu (gluten free preparation and some that can be modified). My waitress was also gluten-free and very helpful. I had the tuna tartare and broiled seafood. All the sides except fries (cross contamination) were gluten free - I had the cheddar polenta and the mashed potatoes with gravy. If you are not cross-contamination sensitive you can also have the deep fried seafood platter - my husband had that and could not tell that they were not battered in gluten. Highly recommend. (I am not celiac).

GF menu items marked, plus the server offered other options that could be made GF. The Lobster Stew was amazing! Only negative was FF not in dedicated fryer but she offered to ask chef to fry in clean pan. I had a GF roll in my bag which was perfect to dip in the broth.

Totally safe gf dining here. Had the halibut and it was ok. Not much taste.

The food is excellent and safe for Celiacs. Menu is marked with gluten free items and all waitstaff are highly informed about cross-contamination. Since being diagnosed with Celiac several years ago, I have never gotten sick eating at DiMillos. Beautiful views, great fresh local lobster, steamers, etc and attentive waitstaff.

Very accommodating, knowledgeable of GF. Service great
Good experience overall. Went early and sat inside to avoid a wait. They checked to make sure the drink I wanted was GF (it wasn’t) and suggested an alternative. My scallops were well prepared and the asparagus was acceptable. Cheese grits tasted good and the whole steamed lobsters were as expected. It’s was a fun experience, but the food was not as good as it “should” have been.
From a celiac point of view, menu was well marked and there are a decent number of options. None of us had a negative reaction, which is a definite plus. Visiting Old Orchard Beach later that evening, couldn’t help but wonder if the $6.99 lobsters with “free cook” might not have been just as safe and a better deal all around! 😂
Yes
Do not order the mixed broiled seafood because when it is prepared GF and cooked it comes out over cooked and is not good. They are not sensitive to gf options in the kitchen.
Separate menu. They make sure the food is prepared separately. Many choices. No GF bread, though.
Yes
Gluten free menu with a good variety of choices.
I've eaten here numerous times since being GF. Absolutely love their mussels (on the regular menu, done with Raye's mustard...so I generally get those.) There are other options, but they are limited. Food and service has generally always been good.
Over priced food, even for a floating restaurant in the Old Port. The options were almost non-existent and I was so concerned about the waitstaff not understanding me that I decided to just have the drink I ordered while I looked over the menu then I left.
The waitress was very friendly but there are not many options - especially for a three year old!
They don't have many gluten free options and they completely messed up my order. Will not be going back here.
