Tasty curry and our waitstaff sat down and marked off everything on the menu that had gluten in it as my phone wouldn’t load the QR code. Very few options are gluten free majority of the menu had gluten. But they were clear when bringing out food and said what was gluten free and what had gluten. My meal was lovely

WARNING- Dishoom has stopped their GF separate menu which for me was so lovely and safe. Nothing except vegan & vegetarian are on main menu you are given a QR code to check allergies.. Very Disappointing & the delicious Ruby Curry now has wheat !!!

I am gluten intolerant, not celiac. Cross contamination is not a problem for me. That said, I LOVE Dishoom. I’ve been twice and both times got the Chicken Ruby. I feel very safe here as someone with a few intolerances because they have all allergens listed on a special allergy friendly menu. If they don’t give it to you right away, ask for it, they get busy! They list items as possibly having cross contamination vs. actually having an allergen as an ingredient on the menu. You know the difference because if it’s cross contamination it will say “may contain” as opposed to “contains.” Items without any allergens will not have either listed and show up as a different color on the menu. I love the Chicken Ruby and their house daal. Both note the risk of cross contamination on the menu, which again isn’t an issue for me. I love their Raita as well and some of the veggie side dishes.

Great meal & overall experience. I was asked about food intolerances while in the lineup to get in, at the bar when ordering a drink and again by our server when taking my order. They also double checked my order on an iPad. I had Chicken Tikka which they cooked on a separate pan rather than the grill. With rice, raita and a gf cilantro sauce it made for a delicious meal.

Delicious family dinner. Very knowledgeable server. They inquired about allergies upon checking in. Then my server clarified if I'm GF by choice or necessity. When I told him necessity, he then asked if I'm ok with cross contact. When I said no, he directed me to their online menu (the paper GF menu includes items with the possibility of cross contact). The items with no cross contact were considerably fewer than the other menus, but I had no trouble finding something I wanted. I ended up with the paneer and the masala shrimp and basmati rice. All were delicious! I had wanted dessert and ordered it but the waiter cautioned that the dessert prep area is right by the bread. I appreciated how careful both the waiter and the kitchen were. It made for a wonderful night out.

I’m gluten free and dairy free. We went for dinner on a Saturday - waited 1.5 hours to get a table. Overall, food was good. Quite spicy for me (admittedly I’m a wimp with spice) and there was no “level” you could pick for spice. They seem to take allergies really seriously, which I SUPER appreciated. So far, I seem fine and everything for me was tagged with an allergy pick.

Lovely vibe, nice staff, good food. Unsure about GF safety but I think it was ok? When I said I needed the GF menu, the server asked if a little bit of gluten was ok. I said no, I’m celiac, and they said there’s no actual gluten in the GF menu, but there’s gluten “around” so there’s risk of cross contamination.

Very knowledgeable and accommodating with Gluten Fee menu. They couldn’t commit to avoiding cross contamination, but the waiter shared which items were prepared far from items with gluten and had an iPad with updates on items where suppliers changed and there was higher risk. Delicious food, great cocktails, lovely ambience, live jazz, and no reaction after eating there! Get there 45 mins to an hour before you want to eat because they do not take bookings.

Delicious food! When you go there ask the waiter for a gluten free menu and also ask them to bring their allergy matrix! Most of the items on the gluten free menu are not celiac safe so the allergy matrix is a must for avoiding cross contamination. I recommend the mattar paneer and the corn.

This was amazing! They have a dedicated gf menu which is full of options. No gf naan. Very very good. The rest of the table was not gf, and they raved above dinner. The alcohol menu has non gf liquor on it, so be aware.

As others have noted, the waiter recommended ordering from only three dishes and rice. Nothing grilled, no salads either. One single vegetarian dish without CC. The food was tasty and I felt very safe, just wish their “gluten free menu” made this clearer so we weren’t told no to everything we planned on ordering. There are probably other restaurants with just as good Indian in the area, more dishes actually gf, and a shorter wait for a table.

VERY knowledgeable staff and kitchen. There is a separate gf menu, however it is really a menu for gluten avoidant people. There was only one meal (the mutton pepper fry curry) that was recommended as safe for a Celiac. Disappointing to not have the options as advertised but very grateful for how informated and communicative the staff was, and the mutton was fantastic. Waiter offered an ice cream on the house since he knew that was prepackaged and would be the only safe option for me.

Very elegant Indian restaurant. They have a separate gluten free menu and they do their best to avoid contaminations. However, food is prepared in the same kitchen. Definitely one of the best places for gluten-free Indian dinners!

You have to access the allergen menu online, but it even has if “may contain gluten”. The wait staff let me know about possible cross contamination and asked if I was celiac or intolerance. They announced what was gluten free vs not gluten free when they brought it to the table - my boyfriend got naan.

I had been to dishoom in London previously and remembered how good they were about gluten free. The experience here is very fun, the drinks are so good and there is a bar waiting area while you’re waiting for a table. Our server went through the menu and indicated what I could order prior to us ordering. The food was so so good and perfect to warm us up after being in the rain all day. Highly recommend! The online menu with filters for allergens is extremely cautious about cross contamination and it limits more than the server would say. I did the chicken ruby and it was delicious!

Very new to being gluten free due suddenly reacting to gluten. I am scared to eat anything, however staff at dishoom reassured me that I was in safe hands. Food was great. Had the chicken tikka and the potatoes. Even had a chocolate for dessert. Amazing
