DO NOT trust all the 5 star reviews. We ignored the 2 1 star reviews hoping for the best and I am now dealing with a very sick girlfriend. We should have been more careful, one bad review is enough for celiacs to stay away.

Sadly not celiac safe whatsoever. Felt like total shit after eating a donut. I really wish they’d change their prep methods bc their donuts taste incredible.

I used to work for Do Rite and their gluten free donuts are NOT gluten free. Yes, the batter itself is gluten free and they fry them in a separate fryer but after being fried they encounter rampant cross-contamination. They are glazed, iced, and decorated in the same exact materials as the regular donuts. This is standard procedure at all locations. As we made donuts throughout the night the glazer would become filled with small pieces and big chunks of our regular donuts, so it was very common to glaze the gluten free donuts in glaze that was absolutely filled with pieces of glutenous donuts. They also dipped them in the same icing as the glutenous donuts and in the same toppings as the glutenous donuts. So although they start out gluten-free, they are absolutely not gluten-free by the time you purchase them.

O.M.G. I’ve eaten GF donuts in several places across the U.S. and none compare to this. Fluffy, fill of flavor and absolutely delicious!! I also ordered the chicken sausage sandwich sans bread and ate with a fork. Wow! So so good and no reaction.

I have celiac. About 30 min after eating two gf donuts, I broke out with a gnarly dh rash on my hands. Just a heads up for my celiac friends. They tasted heavenly but I will suffer from this exposure for awhile.

Just wanted to give a heads up for those of you that are Dairy free as well as Gluten free. There GF donuts contain milk in all three flavors. Was supper bummed. I have two friends that are just gf and couldn’t try them because they were out both time we went there. Which was early morning. Tried to call ahead to order and no one would pick up the phone.

We only bought GF donuts, they were excellent. The day we went they had more of sweet types, like cookies, churro, and another that I cannot recall. They go fast, so go early or call in ahead. I had no issues at all.

A revelation. Hard to believe these donuts were gluten free. Big, dense, moist, crispy, delicious. Online ordering and covid conscious pickup. Had to write this review before I settle into my post donut fat and sugar coma.

They prefer if you call in your order ahead of time so they have time to get everything cleaned and prepped!

SO YUMMY. Three gluten free donuts: cinnamon sugar, chocolate frosted, and sprinkle frosted. Can get individually or in a half or full dozen. I was able to try one of each and all so yummy. All big and fluffy and have that crunch only a dedicated fryer can achieve. As a very sensitive celiac, I did not get sick and can’t wait to come back.

Just a note that’s it’s only a little pickup place, not like a cafe.

Hands down the best gf donuts I’ve ever had. They are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. These are REAL fried donuts, not baked like other places. They keep them separate from the other ones and they pick them up with new gloves. If I could give them more than five stars, I would. One of the only tastes that I remember from when I used to eat gluten about 10 years ago is the taste of Dunkin’ Donuts and I have never come close to experiencing that taste again, until today. You have no excuse not to come here if you’re visiting Chicago.

Awesome GF donuts here! They had 3 different options and kept them in a separate container. They were SO good and didnt taste GF at all, i almost thought they were regular donuts. They literally melted in my mouth. Didn’t get sick and loved every bite

Delicious GF donuts! This is my daughter’s favorite stop when we visit Chicago. We have eaten here several times and she’s never gotten sick. They fry the donuts in a separate fryer and display them separate from the others. We feel safe eating here.

I don’t care why you’re in Chicago, there are ZERO REASONS to not eat these donuts. I literally hunted these down today and had them delivered to the office (I live in DC and am here on a work trip) and it was the best decision I’ve made this week. These are FRIED. None of that cake in a circle called a donut crap. These are real donuts. They’re soft, not dry, amaaazzzinnggg. And I never get sick eating them. Run. Do not walk. And get some. (Because let’s be honest, you might need to do a little running after eating all these donuts.)

Giving this one star is probably not fair, but I’m disappointed they don’t have a GF/DF option. Should have called before I walked over there.

The gluten free donuts were kept in a separate case, the staff used a separate tissue for the gluten free vs non-gluten free donuts, and they also packaged them in separate bags.

The birthday cake gluten free was amazing and very filling. I could not believe it was gluten free because it tasted so good! Definitely a must when you are in Chicago!

Beat gluten free donuts I have ever eaten. And I have tried a lot. These are amazing I totally recommend.

I haven’t had donuts in the 7 years since I went gluten free. I got the cake donut with chocolate glaze. It was amazing!! Tasted just like a regular donut. Probably good they don’t have one near me.
