The Fisherman's Daughter at Dockside Fish Market

Food is delicious. Came here in 2022, before my daughter’s diagnosis. Back in 2024 and, sadly, they do not have a dedicated fryer. They are conscientious in offering GF batter for the fish and chips and tater tots as a GF side, but it’s just not Celiac friendly with the shared fryer. Glad they were very forthcoming and nice. We aren’t able to eat here anymore.

— Excellent

I love it here! Very helpful in explaining what is GF. (Yes, the fryer is shared.) The chowder was incredible! Wonderful little deli with smoked fish of all sorts and snacks. GF flourless chocolate cake for dessert.

Lovely little cafe with fresh fish. The food is not celiac safe though - fish and chicken have GF breading but are fried in the same oil as non-GF foods. Fries are also beer battered and not in a dedicated fryer. Womp womp.

The staff was very knowledgeable about gf. They do have gf breading for fish and chips, however I did not get an answer about a dedicated fryer!? Ordered a cold Cooked shrimp salad that was extremely fresh and tasty. I would go back again!
