Dolcetti Gelato

I would not recommend this establishment for Gluten Free Gelato. They told me which flavors would be GF and used a new scoop. However, part way into my gelato, I crunched down on a cookie bit (which definitely wasn't supposed to be in my sorbetto or sweet cream gelato). I panicked obviously. Despite some flavors being "naturally gluten free" there is obviously a huge risk of cross contamination.It's really sad, because I used to really love this place pre-celiac diagnosis. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place to anyone who wants to safely eat GF. I wish there were more safe GF gelato or ice cream places in the downtown area.
