The show was great and so was our dinner! Loved the chicken, pork, potatoes, corn on the cob and the GF snickerdoodle cookie. Great time and wonderful waiter!

Wonderful selection of food. The soup is now gluten free. The gluten free meal was soup, Udi’s roll, roasted chicken, pork, corn on the cob, potatoes, and Udi’s Snickerdoodle cookie. Our waiter, Erik, was fantastic. The show was amazing too! Will absolutely be back.

My husband has celiac and we were finally able to eat the meal AND the soup at the stampede. We have tried in the past and was not able to die to some minor issues. This year the waiter was on point. He double checked every for us and was extra careful when serving us. Serving a celiac in the middle of a chaotic meal like this is kind of stressful, but he kept his cool and I am so happy to say my husband never got sick and was so happy he got to eat the soup. Everyone is different we know, but I know how extremely sensitive he is to cross contamination so if he did good it's saying something. Good luck and thank you Dolly!

Highly recommend! The chicken was delicious and pork chop was ok. But no problems eating the food. You do not get the soup or a roll but that's ok plenty of food. For dessert you receive a snickerdoodle Udi's cookie very good.

Great show and felt safe with the food. Agreed that there aren’t one to one style substitutes for everything (biscuit, apple turnover and soup - got fruit cocktail, Udi’s roll and Udi’s snickerdoodle cookie) but the bulk of main entree including little roasted chicken, potato, corn and pork were gf. Very similar the the Pirate voyage show food wise.

GF “replacements” were far from adequate or equivalent. When we made the reservations, we were assured GF/DF was easily accommodated but their soup replacement was a canned fruit cocktail, the biscuit replacement was a barely defrosted udis roll. Roasted potato replacement was a dry baked potato. The meat was deemed GF/DF, but my daughter got sick after. They had nothing to offer for dessert.

The soup is now gf. Received a Udi's dinner roll and Snickerdoodle cookie. They served a whole small chicken, potato wedge, corn on the cob, smoked turkey, all gf. It was great! The show was great too, very patriotic. I would definitely go again! Very happy with the dinner and show.

Had a great time with some great food! The main course meal was gluten free along with quite a bit of the drinks they offer. The appetizer(a biscuit) was replaced with warmed up Udis bread rolls and the dessert(some type of sweet bread) was replaced with a warmed up Udis snickerdoodle cookie. Both were great substitutes and I enjoyed it all. The waiters and waitresses know exactly what to do when you request a gluten free meal making it a safe and fun experience without any worry.

The food was great! The service was great as well. We got a warm Udi’s French roll in a package, roasted chicken, pork, potato and corn. Dessert was a warm packaged snickerdoodle cookie. We enjoyed our meal and show!

We did not enjoy our experience here. I was excited they offered a GF meal but the effort was seriously lacking with many food offerings simply left off the plate and replaced with packaged food.

Great gluten free food. The only thing different from the regular menu is a gluten free bun, fruit cup, and gluten free snickerdoodle cookie. You won’t walk away hungry.

Our experience was good. Separate ticket was given to flag meal for server and she knew what it meant and was able to talk me through meal. Tongs are changed with each platter when served and they don’t touch your plate and more dropped in. No reaction for me but maybe it depends on server. Udis bread and cookie in place of the real stuff.

This place is serving a mass amount of people in a short time. As Jeri was great arranging for a Gluten free meal and we presented the gluten free meal ticket to our sever, he still dropped a biscuit on my wife's plate. Once reminded she was gluten free, he brought her some udi rolls but did not replace the plate. Ahe also delivered the soup to her from the same severed pitcher as everyone else's but no mention if it was gluten free or not. He also put down the hand pie on her plate for dessert as well. If you are celiac, maybe communicate even more. Seems like as an establishment they have the ability to do the dinner gluten free but execution was TERRIBLE.

I had reserved my meal as gluten free and my ticket was marked accordingly. When I’ve been there previously, the waiter was already aware of my diet needs. This time, he came through with biscuits and just dropped one on my plate. I had my ticket displayed as they asked. So when he came back through, I told him that I needed to be gluten free and he said no one told him and I didn’t tell him. So I showed him my ticket. He left, coming back after a few minutes with a gf roll, which was very good. My waiter did great from that point forward and the meal was wonderful. I will try to remember in the future that I need to remind the waiter from the start that I have a gf ticket.

While the gf cookie and gf roll came out prepackaged, the chicken and rest of the meal is served with the same utensils as all of the other customers. They touch the plate with the regular bread and unfortunately I became sick after trying to eat here. I thought I watched closely but apparently did not. They serve a huge crowd in a short time. Not celiac safe.
No
I’m not sure the “gluten free” meal is truly gluten free. I was sick within 2 hours after eating dinner there. I haven’t been that sick in a long time. It was horrible especially on vacation. I have Celiac’s and I wouldn’t eat there again. 😢
Was so excited about GF options and we got tickets to alert server to GF ... got fruit and udi’s cookie but my two celiac kids BOTH got so sick one there by end of show the other barely made it to rental home without an accident ... I am Gluten sensitive as is my 3rd child and we were fine....
The staff was excellent! Could eat almost everything. They subbed fruit for the soup and a warmed Udi’s cookie for dessert. The gluten free roll wasn’t that great but I didn’t go hungry!
Our server was wonderful. He made sure everything was done separately for her and right. He had a son with allergies and made it his priority to take care of our daughter.
I was able to select a gluten-free meal for my husband when I ordered our tickets online. When we arrived, they gave us our tickets plus a card to place in front of my husband’s plate to denote a gluten-free meal. He was served the same meal as everyone else except for 3 substitutions: fruit cocktail instead of soup; gf roll instead of a biscuit; and gf cookie instead of a turnover. It went smoothly with no problems. The food was great except my husband did not care for the gf roll.

Was a little bit disappointed after reading the previous reviews on this site because they did not offer us the fruit as a sub for soup or a gluten-free roll. My son and I are both gluten free and I had already told him that we would get those things and then they didn't offer them. Not sure why it seems to be changing. We ate all of the same main course as the rest - chicken, pork, potato, and corn on the cob and did receive the gf cookie at the end.

Fantastic food! I've been to a couple of Dolly Parton shows and have never had a reaction. Make sure to buy your tickets the day before if possible and tell them (or select online) that you want the gluten free meal to ensure prompt dinner service.
Everything about Dolly's Dixie Stampede was on point- it was a perfect night!! Just make sure to let them know when you buy your tickets that you need gluten-free. Roasted chicken, park tenderloin, fruit instead of soup, corn on the cob, potato, and a warm gluten-free roll. All followed but a snickerdoodle cookie that tasted like it was strait out of the oven. Fun and delicious!!

Food was food, service was awesome and we LOVED the main show! I was so happy they had a gluten free full meal...roll, fruit cup, chicken, ham, potato and corn. The amount of people they feed in the short amount of time is truly impressive! You have to make reservations and tell them then you have the gluten free diet restriction.
Yes
I was very impressed with the knowledge of my server with my dietary issue! I showed her my gluten free ticket, and she took care of me well all night! She made sure to bring my fruit bowl and gluten free roll (substitute for the soup and biscuit) out separate from the non-gluten free food on its own plate. The main corse was delightful. It is not different from the normal menu. The desert cookie (substitute for the apple turnover) was also great! My server also brought it out on a separate plate. I highly suggest this dinner and show to those who have to have gluten free, the food is great, and the show is spectacular!
I ate there last night. My server was very helpful with my celiac issue. There is plenty of food, actually way too much for me! They substitute the roll with a gluten free roll which comes heated in a plastic wrapping. They substitute the apple turnover with a GF snicker doodle heated in it own packaging. I did not eat the pork and the barbecue sauce is not GF!
Yes
Server was not concerned about keeping food from contamination. Almost put bread on sons plate. Seemed annoyed to have to bring gluten-free option. Our son had been sick all night. Not gluten-free!!!!
Great show awesome food. We had a great server who was respectful of gf dinner. The soup and biscuit are off limits, however we had gf roll and gf warm cookie, yummmm We will go back.
Use caution. The servers get rushed and forget. the main course is gf but skip the soup, biscuit, and turnover.

First the positives when ordering my tickets the reservation was super helpful answered all my questions and made sure I knew what I could and could not have. Most everything was tasty and the cookie was soft and gooey and my boyfriend took a bite whose not gf and liked it as much as me. The downside was that the waiter was rushed and made mistakes. He poured me soup when I said the the reservation clerk said i couldn't have it he had me pass it to my son but some spilled on my plate, he was annoyed when I asked for a new plate... and then poured some some to my son and said something like "you should try a little its really good" to me, ummm I'm not on a diet I have Celiacs disease and can't have any. Then he almost put the biscuit on my plate. Than when he was doing desert looked annoyed that I reminded him I have a GF cookie coming and not the pastry.

We were excited to take the family to Dixie Stampede, since we had been before. One of our guests needed a gluten free menu so we checked before and saw that it was available. Unfortunately, it was very misleading While the rest of our group received the soup and biscuit before the main meal, our GF guest received NOTHING! There wasn't a substitute item, they just received nothing. The meal then came and everything on the menu was already GF (chicken, potato, corn and pork cutlet). For dessert, our group received the apple pie/croissant. Our GF guest received a snicker doodle for her GF option. She did say it was particularly delicious. So basically we paid the same full price for all of us, but our GF guest did not receive the full meal.Very disappointed.
We required 2 gf meals for my 2 children. They have made some great improvements in their meals. The chicken is now seasoned and very delicious! The dessert cookie was warm and very good! I agree they should find a gf soup and possibly consider a corn bread. (The wheat soup served isn't that good. Tastes like gravy). They serve a huge plate of steamed vegetables. They would have been happy with raw ones and a dish of ranch dressing! Overall big improvement over years past. Thank you for making the effort to accommodate the gf world. You have many mouths to feed in a short time frame! Love going there!

Great show! Really good food, tender chicken, juicy pork, outstanding wait staff. My only complaint is gfree sit and watch others get their cheddar biscuit and soup before anything we can have comes out. Gf cornbread is easy and there are lots of gfree soups that could be served. Cookie was okay.
But still worth the trip for an awesome show and really tasty food that didn't make us sick!

I can't wait to go. Here is the email I received. Thank you for contacting Dixie Stampede! We will be happy to prepare a gluten free meal for you! You will receive a tender whole rotisserie chicken, hickory smoked barbeque pork loin, herb basted potato, corn on the cob, and for dessert a delicious snickerdoodle cookie. Our kitchen has recently made the switch to gluten free seasonings as well! I recommend calling 1-800-356-1676 to set up reservations in advance, because our show tends to sell out very quickly. Please mention at the time of booking that you will need a gluten free meal. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact me any time. Have a wonderful day!

The only thing I couldn't eat was the bread soup and regular dessert but got a snicker doodle cookie it was amazing and was hot like it just got done baking!!!

the food here was amazing. I was able to eat everything except the bread, soup, and dessert. the chicken was amazing and the gf cookie for dessert was the perfect finishing to an amazing meal. I would definitely go back for the food and the entertainment.

The dinners have changed since the last reviews. I was able to eat everything except the soup, roll, and dessert. They gave us a cookie instead of pastry for desert. Very good show too.
Ew. Worst gluten free meal that I have ever had. Hazel was right. No soup or dessert. No spices on anything or any real flavor. Never going back.
No
Their gluten free meal was horrible! The chicken was flash fried without any seasoning (plain and greasy), the corn didnt have any butter on it, the baked potato didnt have any seasoning at all either. No gluten free options for dessert.
This is not worth the ticket price. The chef should know better... you can have gluten free and still have flavor.
Need to call ahead and make reservations noting gluten free and they will accommodate you well, remind wait staff when you arrive food was very good
