Dominos is new in this town. Nervously I ordered their gf cheese pizza and was pleasantly surprised. Crust tasted much better than a competitor using Udi crust in town and I had no reaction, which made me happy!! Gf Pizza starts at $8.95?? and increases in price as you add toppings Im told. I noticed when I picked up pizza they also have some salad options in their cooler case by register.
Do NOT EAT ANYTHING!! Cross contamination..
When they say in their warning "common kitchen" what they mean is, "your pizza will be cooked on the same exact tray as a gluten one and we don't actually scrub them in between too often because it ruins the seasoning of the pan". Which is totally a legitimate way to prepare yummy food- as long as you are not calling it gluten free. So, please do be aware of that when determining if you should eat here. In my experience ordering it for family who can eat gluten, their delivery service is excellent and you can order with an app on your phone. So I give one star for even having gf options, and the second for "mostly" being open about the risk with their warning label and having good service otherwise.
I would recommend this place for anyone on vacation. My celiac daughter and two people with Hashimotos ate their gluten free pizza. I called and they told me they wash their hand before they make each pizza. No issues, safe bet for out of town people.
They use the same sauce, ladle, cooking sheets, cheese, and toppings that they dip their flour covered hands into. Also, they wear the same flour covered aprons that they use with regular pizza. this completely changes their pizza from gluten free to cross contaminated. There is a small disclaimer there that does state that there is no guarantee of cross contamination. However, they make every effort to ensure that cross contamination happens. no thank you!
Standard gf Dominis pizza; tasted good and my celiac daughter had no issues (aka she didn't get sick at all).
I went here today to have some pizza with my friends and I asked if they have gluten free pizza and they said yes! Let's just say I feel terrible now. Just because the pizza is gluten free doesn't mean it's prepared right. I was really hoping it would have been great..
"Domino's® pizza made with a Gluten Free Crust is prepared in a common kitchen with the risk of gluten exposure. Therefore, Domino's® DOES NOT recommend this pizza for customers with celiac disease. Customers with gluten sensitivities should exercise judgment in consuming this pizza."
