The menu marks items that contain gluten with a G and says not to eat anything made in their fryer, but does not list what is made in their fryer on the menu. I didn’t personally find the staff that knowledgeable. When I ordered I described the severity of my “allergy” but the staff member that took my order didn’t seem to know much more than to type “allergy” on the order. So when I ate the food I was genuinely unsure if cross contamination occurred or not. The food also was not very hot when it was brought out. I did not get sick though.

I have dined at Doña many times and it has always been a great experience! I usually get the bowl with chicken. I communicate the severity of my “allergy”/celiac disease. I ordered online and in my order description I wrote “severe gluten allergy. Please change gloves/utensils”

When I picked up my order the receipt said “GLUTEN ALLERGY” so I know they took my request seriously. I am extremely sensitive to cross contamination and I did not have any issues. They also have great margaritas!

I did not ask about the chips but I believe they are fried in same frier as fish and not celiac safe. Best to check with restaurant staff.

I ordered 2 items that were not marked to have gluten and I even made sure with the person working the register that they didn’t have gluten and as soon as I finished eating I was hunched over in excruciating pain. The food was extremely bland and not worth being glutened at all.

I've ordered takeout a few times and have been safe. I like the vegan burrito bowl and their roasted salsa is good, as well as the handmade tortillas. I recommend this place for celiacs.

Menu marks what HAS gluten or probable contamination, which is unusual. But, it also shows they are aware of cross contamination. Had a margarita on the deck during early phase of reopening. Refreshing!
