Genuinely miserable, have had gluten free pizza here for the last 3 years on my birthday and the server says they’ve never offered it? bit random. Anyway the pasta was mid.

Donatello have a large selection of GF pasta (detailed on a separate GF menu if you ask). They used to do GF pizza too, which was the best pizza/garlic bread I’ve ever had. Sadly, they have removed this from their menu as a customer created a huge fuss about CC. I suggested that if labelled NGCI and risk of CC made clear, they could still offer this. I am highly sensitive coeliac, but I’ve never been unwell or had any problems eating at Donatello. They do try their best to eliminate risk as much as they can.

I asked for a gluten-free menu on arrival, to which the server informed me that cross-contamination was fairly high and advised me not to have a pizza, although GF bases are available. It is only pasta dishes on the NCGI menu, so I chose a bolognese pasta, which was lovely, although I initially went thinking they could do GF pizza, which was disappointing

Ordered gluten free pasta dish. The pasta itself was gluten free but normal spaghetti was in my meal. They were apologetic and offered me an alternative version made with rice instead of pasta and took the meal off the bill which was nice however… don’t eat here if you’re coeliac and sensitive, the cross contamination is fairly high.

So many gluten free options! The menu was so clear and labelled each gluten free dish with (GF). The waitress told us that the chef makes his own gluten free pizza bases and they were amazing! Gluten free pasta also available for a range of pasta dishes!!
