They have gluten free bread and the waitress listened to my concern over gluten intolerance but the chef prepared both my husbands regular bread sandwich along side mine and I did get sick.

A little pricey for what you get, but they food is very good and the waitress made sure to ask if it was an allergy, and said they would wipe off the counter and change their gloves. Service has always been great. They have gluten free bread for any of their sandwiches and i’m sure for breakfast options too. They only really have sandwiches in the afternoon other than the typical salads though!

We ate breakfast here. Service was fairly disappointing. The food was good, and while I didn't get sick, I didn't feel good after eating. I suspect they use soy oil.

We already loved Donckers before my husband was diagnosed with celiac, so when we realized they were one of the best places in Marquette when it came to gluten free dining, it was such a treat! We ate here twice on our most recent visit to the UP - first time we had a super knowledgeable server and the second time the server had to verify a couple things with the kitchen because she wasn't sure. We also had significantly slower service the second visit (they were busier and it was Memorial Day morning), which we were told was because they were taking the time to wipe everything down for our safety. Totally fine and glad they were taking extra precautions! They do have GF toast (I believe it's Udi's) for breakfast and the omelettes/hasbrowns are always amazing.

Such good food! Celiac friendly. They asked if it was allergy related so they could keep my order separate. They have gluten free bread, you can use this for breakfast and lunch!

Ate here every day for breakfast for a week on vacation and did not get sick once. Sensitive celiac and lactose free. Had omlettes and hash mostly and had Udi’s gluten free bread on the side. Easy to make an online order and specify gluten free. Cute place inside with knick knacks to buy too.

They use separate gloves and separate utensils. They were knowledgeable about what cross contamination and had udi’s bread for toast which they grilled in a wax paper so it wouldn’t touch the contaminated grill.
Corned beef hash was great. Dante’s inferno omelette was good too.

Great menu selection. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Had the BLT and it was fabulous.

My favorite place in Marquette to get fresh, tasty, gluten free food with yummy local ingredients. I am very picky. This is the only place I go to get a hamburger. The meat is grass fed from a local farm, Guindon. I order the Donkers spinach and feta burger on a bed of lettuce (instead of bread).
Their salads are amazing, The staff understands gluten free so well! No explanations necessary here:)
And don't forget a bit of their dark chocolate on the way out:)

My meal was great. The first helper said anything could be made gf but common sense told me it was too good to be true and it was- but it’s the usual pancakes, French toast, etc that can’t be gf. When I asked further it was apparent that the other staff was VERY knowledgeable of Celiac and of the ingredients in their foods. They do have a decent gf bread and toast it separately. I had an omelet and hash browns.

Good, local, fresh ingredients. Staff were very knowledgeable about cross contamination in the kitchen and advised me that parchment paper is used on the grill for GF orders.

Knowledgeable about celiac. Love this place!

Great sandwich at a reasonable price and they even had a wide range of vegetarian options for my husband.
They have Gluten Free sandwich bread and their tomato basil soup is GF. I had the Athena sandwich, it was pretty good, the bread was a little crumbly so had to eat it pretty quick. Seems like they can make most sandwiches GF. You order upstairs and they give you a rock with you # on it. Neat little place, would definitely come back!
Great food!!
Donkers is the best. Their GF bread is restaurant size Udis. They toast it on their press but put parchment paper around the sandwich so no cross contam. Had a BLT with their avocado spread. Amazing!!!
If you're feeling like soup and a sandwich definitely go to Donckers. They also have fantastic breakfast. They have Udi's Gluten Free bread (larger restaurant only sandwich bread!), that is as good as ever. Staff is familiar with gluten and dairy allergies, they always change gloves, and can tell you which sauces are okay. If you like spicy food, the Blazin Saddles sandwich is amazing!
They have really great gluten-free bread!
They have gf options and gf bread! Was able to have a grilled avocado, bacon, gouda cheese sandwich with fresh fruit salad. No health issues after eating there. Staff is familiar with gf and friendly.
