You aren't getting sick from cross contamination, you're getting sick from the heavy oil used. If you like the taste of oil covered in frosting, you'll like these donuts. I could only stand a few bites.

Donuts are delicious and made with gluten free ingredients but fried in the same fryer as the non-Gf donuts.

The donut itself tasted great and they had a nice assortment. However I had a mild reaction shortly following. The website states “Due to fryer/small space always risk for cross contamination” I’m not sure if they clean the fryers then cook the donuts in fresh oil or if they cook the gluten free batter in the contaminated oil. It doesn’t sound like they have a separate fryer based on there website but I’m not sure. I wasn’t the person who purchased the donuts so I was unable to ask my typical questions. The donuts were great but I would be hesitant and talk with the staff if you have any questions. I would have ranked this shop 5 stars on taste alone but I am ranking 3 stars based on the reaction I had.

The VERY BEST GF donuts I’ve ever tasted! They usually have quite a few options.
I am super sensitive to gluten and I’ve never had an issue.
Clean and friendly atmosphere!

They do not have a dedicated fryer so not even close to Gluten Free.

Gluten free donuts available. Only allowed to purchase two at a time unless ordering 1dozen or more ahead of time. Cinnamon sugar is my favorite!
We went to Donut Love a week or two ago. Pretty good donuts! They didn’t have any GF donuts ready to be sold when we got there, but the chef was in the middle of making another batch. They had three options when we went, all with a vanilla cake donut base: vanilla frosted, chocolate frosted, and cinnamon sugar. They only let you buy 2 GF donuts at a time though. We even waited 25 minutes for them, but hey, can’t complain too much since we did get a couple. And the next person with an allergy would be sure to get some, too. Just odd that they have a limit, because every other donut place I’ve been to doesn’t put a limit on GF donuts. They are fairly expensive, given that they are GF donuts, not from DD or Krispy Kreme. I also don’t know if they are 100% celiac safe. Will have to ask about the fryer next time. With different flours in the air, I’m sure that’s something else to consider.
