Visited the 52 W 52 location. Matt behind the counter was very knowledgeable. Only gluten on premises is faro and flour tortillas. The corn tortilla are very good and the food is fresh. I asked them to change gloves and Matt was smart and put down foil in the warmer. Dedicated fryer for the chips!

First time I went they were great and changed gloves and heated my tortillas on tinfoil without me even asking. Last time I was there though the girl working literally did not know what Celiac disease was and after I asked her to change gloves and heat my tortillas on tinfoil (as to avoid cross contamination) she proceeded to put them on the griddle where the wheat tortillas are cooked. They should not have employees working who do not know the basics of food allergies.

Tasty, filling and cheap for NYC - just $10 for big, veg salad (add the yummy sweet potatoes!). Told preparer I have celiac and she immediately changed her gloves and was the only one in the line who made my salad - all toppings had serving spoons/tongs, no hands.

This is a great GF option at a reasonable price that is convenient to many midtown NYC sites. We told the staff that we needed help ordering safe GF options, and the manager assisted us and directed the servers in proper safety precautions. The food was very tasty, and we felt confident that it was safe for my celiac sons.
