We love this place! So nice to have a treat dinner with our 11 year old who is also celiac. Neither of us have ever had any reactions eating here and the food is delicious. Just wish they would open for lunchtime!!

Almost 2 years since my diagnosis of celiac disease. Visiting my daughter and her family in PN and took the opportunity to try fish and chips after soooo long without. Can’t rave enough about the gf order. I absolutely loved it. Probably ate way too much but couldn’t resist. Thank you so much. I was so impressed to see a completely separate area for the preparation and cooking of the gluten free food and was so relaxed while eating. I’ll be back for sure!!!

Double 8 Nine is great, me and friends visit it regulary the staff here is welcoming and the food is delicious as always.

I tried a Gluten free Hoki and Gurnad with few scoops of chips. The portion size was well worth the money.

My favourite pick is a gluten free chicken burger. MUST TRY.

Worst Gluten free fish and chips ive ever had, tasted terrible. Batter was rock hard , upset my stomach too ended up throwing away most of the order. Gross

Batter is very crispy although a bit oily and the burger buns are delicious. GF food cooked in separate fryers and I’ve never reacted

My children have never reacted, have separate prep space and cooker just make sure you clearly state celiac they even have the nz celiac symbol

Not coeliac friendly anymore. New owners not entirely careful enough. Take care! Still gluten free but may have cross-contamination.
