Excellent experience, almost everything can be made gluten free. Our waitress was coeliac herself and reassured that they avoid cross contamination. The food was delicious and we would highly recommend to coeliacs.

Absolutely amazing pancakes and service. Even a GF biscuit with my coffee and reassured me that everything was Gf was bringing food to the table. Will definitely be back.

Found this place via a Facebook group for gluten free. So nice being able to order & eat gluten free pancakes, I’m also dairy free and was able to have vegan ice cream too. Could not book ahead but we timed it well. Great find 😊

Very tasty pancakes. The majority of the menu can be made gluten free. Pans are wiped down everytime before use to avoid contamination

Got here early and there was a que!!! Got seated no problems .. seriously the menu can be adapted to GF and dairy free the host is super knowledgeable with what I can eat and what to avoid.... Short wait but well worth it

Amazing crepe style pancakes. I tried both a sweet and a savoury pancake, and both were delicious. Almost all pancakes on the menu can be made gf. The gf ones are prepped on a separate pan with separate utensils, and staff change gloves. They even gave me a gf biscuit with my tea! A must for gf visitors to York!

Lovely small little café! I ordered the chicken and bacon bbq melt savoury pancake and my husband ordered the Greek savoury pancake which had olives feta, peppers etc. The food tasted great but it was quite pricey for what you got. You got one pancake the size of a standard dinner plate topped with a few toppings and they were about £10 each so very pricey! We had 2 savoury pancakes, 2 strawberry milkshakes and a child’s sweet pancake and it came to just under £40! Very expensive for what it is. They were very clued up on gluten free and my husband who is coeliac was perfectly fine after eating there and he is very sensitive to gluten. I would go back again but maybe just for a sweet one.

best GF pancake I’ve ever had. Great amount of options too! would be even better if they had some GF Oreo’s and buenos etc for the pancake! but still absolutely amazing!!

Great experience and staff were so friendly and aware of the importance of cross contamination . Also my son is also allergic to peanuts and nut as well as being coeliac and cleaned down the area before preparing his food. Would definitely recommend and come back

We went there on Thursday for breakfast. I had a pancake with bacon and maple syrup. It was excellent. I’ve never been there. It’s a quirky looking place with very friendly people working there. It was very easy to order and I believe you could get all of the menu with gluten free bases. I had no reaction but happiness.
