Review of Double Helix Wine & Whiskey Lounge

I’m not even sure if the other review on this restaurant is for the correct place, and I certainly wouldn’t believe a 5 star review from someone who says they aren’t even GF. They don’t have a real gluten free menu, but they do have one menu that they’ve marked which items don’t contain gluten. Their cheese and meat plates are good (ask for no bread) and the salad I had was good too, but I don’t think they really take any care to change gloves or use clean cutting areas. I’ve eaten there twice and not gotten sick but then got pretty sick the third time I went, so it seems pretty hit or miss. I have Celiac and don’t think I’ll eat here again, but maybe someone with less sensitivity can get away with it. (Also, they have their fries listed as GF on their “Gluten Free Menu”, but I didn’t ask if they have a dedicated fryer or not. I know they have a lot of different fried things that contain gluten, but I didn’t ask about the fryers.)
