Felt very safe here!! Heaps of knowledge about cross-contamination with a separate menu listing what's safe (even though a lot of it said GF, it wasn't actually coeliac safe). Food + drink came out super quick and wait staff were super lovely. Only downside is there weren't many coeliac options but that won't stop me coming here again!

Understand coeliac requirements, with a separate menu identifying coeliac friendly options. However, despite most items being GF, there were very few that were coeliac friendly (1 entree, 2 or 3 mains). For example, the red duck curry had deep fried kumara in it (from a shared fryer) etc. The soy chicken could be made coeliac friendly but has no sauce on it so was definitely not as delicious as it should be. Unfortunately most food is made in Advance, so they can't just serve it without the contaminated item. The things we did have tasted great though.

Very disappointed, asked prior to arriving if there were safe options was told yes, arrived and when ordering again said it needs to be coeliac safe, the waiter came back after we ordered and said that only the tuna, plain rice and endamame beans were ok, even though a good portion of the menu said that the food was either gluten free or could be made Gluten free. This was for my 12 year old daughter who then had to sit with a bowl of rice and some endamame beans for dinner while everyone else ate, there was a large group so couldn’t leave and find somewhere else.

Dragonfly wait staff were very knowledgeable about best coeliac practices and even wrote out a guide (attached here) on their menu to what was safe. I had the ginger soy chicken. Although it was delicious it was a very small portion for the $36.00 price tag. It also came out much later than everyone else’s meals which was a bit disappointing. All side dishes can be made gluten free so order at least 1-2 of these so you don’t end the evening still hungry!

Mentioned I was Coeliac when booking, when I arrived they gave me a special menu they had marked all the safe food options, felt very happy they understood the requirements, as I questioned one item that had been marked a no, and the waitress immediately told me the cross contamination risk. Enough options to feel like I had a choice and delicious desert as well. Will be a staple choice for us when visiting Wellington

The staff were very knowledgeable about gluten free and cross contamination. They had a separate menu for coeliac disease, plenty to choose from including desserts. We felt confident our daughter was safe to eat there.
