I am gluten/dairy intolerant and there’s more than just salads to eat on their menu! Fries are done in the same oil as other battered items. Food is always great, but is somewhat limited.
It’s a shared kitchen so there is always a risk. But I’ve eaten here several times and have not gotten sick, they do take as many precautions as they can.
The options on the menu aren’t really labeled well if at all, so you need to ask. However, there are not many. My go-to is the loaded grilled cheese with greens (the fries are NOT safe), it is delicious and it’s insanely affordable for how much gluten free bread they put on it! They don’t up charge for it! They also have a local gluten free cider on tap if you are a fan of ciders like Angry Orchard. Another option is trying one of their burgers, which i have not, but definitely double check ingredients. Staff has seemed very knowledgeable when i have gone there. Honestly despite the limited options, the loaded grilled cheese makes it all worth it haha! It’s massive and delicious.
The food was delicious - my husband (not gluten sensitive) loved his burger and fries, I thoroughly enjoyed my veggie burger on gluten free bread with greens on the side. Our server told me the burgers and salads were the celiac safe items as long as I opted for the gluten free bread. When I got home I looked up the ingredient "hefeweizen vinaigrette" which was part of the veggie burger. It was made with wheat beer!!! I didn't get glutened (my sensitivities/reactions are morphing) but the kitchen confirmed the burger contains wheat when I called. Ugh.
If you get the loaded grilled cheese made gf it is STACKED. Delicious. Unsure how safe for those with celiac. Typically very busy so if you have questions I'd come at a less busy time.
