D's Smokehouse Bar and Grill

Went here for lunch because of this app. I got the chicken Ceasar salad, it was gooooood! A little dry but I'm a saucy girl. Also was able to order fries as they have a dedicated fryer. The cook came out and talked to me about being gf and asked if I was Celiac. I said yes, and he mentioned a bakery that's in Maple Lake that's dedicated GF and also i believe nut/dairy free, called Clover Meadow Bakery. I haven't checked that out yet, but if I do, I'll for sure leave a review.

Delicious food! Does not have a dedicated GF menu but does indicate GF items within main menu. Chicken wings, pork belly bites and spinach artichoke dip all GF for appetizers. Offers a gluten free bun for all burgers, several main entrees can be ordered GF ( protein & veg in place of baked beans /Mac & cheese)and has a “to die for” gluten free cake for dessert with rotating flavors. Additionally offered a GF pasta dish as a dinner special recently so maybe looking to add more GF to menu…..? The staff took my GF needs seriously and owner/ chef came out to greet me and follow up with my GF request. Impressed!

So far so good here. Ate here two times so far. Dedicated fryer. Yummy!

Great experience here—menu is clearly labeled and they have buns from a dedicated GF bakery. Delicious food!

D’s had gluten free buns, and our server asked if it was a gluten allergy to make sure the sauces were okay as well. The triple berry sauce was unreal. I was surprised in the best way.
