Decent establishment for a quick bite. We ate here our first night in town after 15 hours on the road. My celiac daughter had the blt, nothing to fancy. They have a modest amount of gf options between the bbq and the gf bun/bread for sandwiches. My daughter enjoyed her meal and had no reaction so no issues there.

Really cute little place. Young guy who took our order could have been more pleasant or respectful; someone in our party asked for a recommendation and he was so helpful. I believe the owner was helping to deliver orders and she was also engaging with customers in line - overall, a very friendly ordering experience. They offered GF roll alternatives for sandwiches; I even noticed they did have a ‘gluten allergy’ tag in their ordering system. I would venture a guess that the FFs were not GF (they looked like the kind that may have been flour bartered for crispiness, but in fairness to the restaurant, I didn’t ask one way or the other). Their desserts looked absolutely delicious but didn’t see ‘GF’ tag so I assumed they were not. I ordered a burger and it was good!

Maybe we got the wrong thing but our food was not good at all. Not a dedicated kitchen but they said they would take precautions but the food was a let down. Not good NC pork BBQ, the potato salad wasn’t good, the ribs were over cooked and no flavor on the sauce. Expensive and had to go eat somewhere else.

The owner knew to let us know that she had gf rolls but that the fries were not gf due to a shared fryer. She knew all ingredients of her products
Many options and sauces gf, not fries though. Delicious food.
Lovely management

Had lunch here twice on vacation. We had super fast take out one time and sat in the restaurant the other. Very low-key, friendly place. Felt comfortable with the staff’s knowledge of the gluten-free choices. My daughter said the gluten-free roll was yummy.
Yes
Breakfast has good options, chef cooked my eggs in a pan since French toast is cooked on the grill. Home fries and sausage are both fried. Barbecue wise, safest option is ribs and pulled pork as chicken is cooked in barbecue sauce that they get shipped in. The NC vinegar is GF.

I’ve been eating here for twenty years and never had a problem. If I ask to share an omelette they put the bread on the other person’s plate. Their ribs, barbecue, chicken, and baked beans are all gf. Nice outside eating space and quick takeout.

Good roll. Next a true deli more of a restaurant that has sandwiches. The gf sub roll was good though
I stopped here and got a delicious pulled pork sandwich with a gluten-free roll. All of the sauces are gluten-free and the waitresses were knowledgeable even in this small café. The only bad thing is that the roll fell apart since the pulled pork was so moist and heavy, but of course that is not their fault. Right across the street is Donuts on a Stick which has gluten-free donuts -so it was a nice option for dessert after lunch. Worth the trip!
The provide gf rolls and all of their bbq sauces gf!
