Dutch Bros Coffee

All of the staff is wonderful and the entire coffee menu (not the baked goods! some Dutch Bros. locations can have some gluten free breakfast items!) Make sure to look up if the syrup that’s in your favorite drink is Celiac/gluten-free friendly! (most are, some sugar-free options aren’t)

The staff here is super great with making recommendations for gluten free drinks. They do not offer any gluten free desserts at this time, but they make up for it in the options for coffee, teas and smoothies! I really enjoyed the mango smoothie and the chai tea latte. Only coffee, tea and smoothies go into the blenders and they will happily use a cleaned one if you request. The whipped topping is reddiwip and they will also show you the list of ingredients if you ask. Definitely recommend!!

The frosties come in a variety of flavors that will explicitly say on the bottle if they are gluten free (any Dutch bros) and have otherwise been safe in my experience. I generally just get a chocolate frosty cause it’s tasty, I’m usually in a rush, long line, and too anxious to take up space to see what other flavors are safe and available. But I had this last fall a pumpkin spice frosty, that was tasty, too!

Staff in my experience are hit/miss on knowledge of gf. That’s not a company priority but an individual thing.

Dutch Bros as a chain has very understanding and kind workers, so when I have asked to make sure their coffees are gluten free, they have been very helpful. My personal favorite, the Golden Eagle, is gluten free.

I was hesitant because of some contradictory online reviews saying that some of the syrups might be unsafe. The person who took my order didn’t know what was gluten free, so I googled furiously to find out.

I got an iced “Carmelator” with whipped cream, which was creamy and excessively sweet. Didn’t get sick, just caffeinated.

I had a strawberry drink and according to a website I read all their drinks are gluten-free. I was sick within a couple hours.
