Excellent food and service. I enjoyed my gluten free dinner and my dad enjoyed his regular dinner. I was able to enjoy battered fish in a restaurant for the first time in 14 years, without any concern, my entire meal with delicious! No adverse effects/reactions after the meal.

Restaurants has gluten free flour and bread available. Staff are well versed with gluten free, food options and cross contamination concerns. Gluten free options are not identified on the menu, but they will work with you and provide you with modified menu options. Not a dedicated fryer, so obviously avoid deep fried foods, but pan fried foods are safe.

Restaurant is not fancy, but worth going for the food; having Celiac, experiencing positive knowledge and quality food options are very limited.

Menu did not mark or state gluten free items or substitutions available however staff were very knowledgeable about gluten containing food items (ie. sausage links). Gluten free buns and bread available, asked how sensitive I was and whether they needed to wear different gloves etc. Server confirmed that meal was gluten free when she set it down.

Absolute little gem in Bancroft. Made my breakfast gluten and dairy free with ease. Strong reactive celiac and anaphylactic allergies and had not one worry. Affordable friendly and yummy what more could you want

Great place to eat! I ordered fish and Ceasar salad. The fish was coated in a delicious gf batter and pan fried. The Ceasar salad had a home made dressing without croutons. The meal was delicious and I am very confident that precautions were made to ensure minimal CC. They do not have a dedicated fryer so anything deep fried should be avoided. The staff seemed very educated on celiac disease.

They have the most amazing HOMEMADE gluten-free bread that they offered me during the off-season. It is fluffy, flavourful and delicious. They mentioned they have more gluten-free options in the summer so I am curious to test that out in the summertime.

Great service and delicious food! A hidden jem!

Wish I lived closer so I could eat their chicken burgers constantly!

Gluten free spaghetti and buns! Beef patties aren’t GF but chicken burgers are and the staff is very accommodating. Don’t let the outside of the restaurant fool you, it’s busy and a lovely family run restaurant.
