They're very safe. They take GF for celiacs seriously.

I’ve eaten here twice and had the quinoa power-bowl. Our server told my table they take celiac disease very seriously. I would totally recommend if you’re looking for a safe, delicious place in town.
Yes
Horrible experience here, ordered from gluten-free menu and stated that I have celiac but I got super sick from the food. Will not eat here again!!!

Love Earl’s because they have a dedicated fryer so that means fries! Yam fries!! The food is pretty good although the price can be a bit high for the quality. Staff is knowledgable or will ask the kitchen to be sure, which I appreciate. During non-covid times the yaletown location can have a waitlist for dinner.

I ordered gluten free chicken tacos with fries as the waiter said there was a separate deep fryer. When it came out the fries were directly touching the regular garlic toast from my mom's order who I was with (not gf). I told the server I can't eat this with it touching as a small amount like that can make me sick so they took it back to remake and came out with a new order 10 minutes later. I asked to speak to the supervisor who apologized. She came back while we were eating and I wanted to double check the fries were gf because they looked slightly coated with something. She said yes they are but it's too late you've already eaten half of them and laughed. Fast forward 2 hours when I am severely vomiting and having diarrhea. Ended up in the hospital. To make it better my identical twin who is also celiac and ordered the same meal also got sick. We went to the hospital together. I am expecting a call back from Earls regarding this situation.

I was a bit wary coming here but the staff were very willing to explain how they keep things gluten free. There aren't a lot of options but I ordered the Santa Fe chicken salad and yam fries and didn't get sick. I asked them to cook the chicken on a piece of foil as it didn't appear that they had a separate grill area for gluten free but I can't tell if they did or not. I did double check multiple times everything was "gluten aware" as they call it and I would be willing to go back.
