I got the Jane on gf bread. It was SO GOOD. Definitely recommend. There are so many options and I couldn’t decide what I wanted. The staff asked if I had an allergy and was very knowledgeable. Was pricy for a sandwich shop. $80 for 5 sandwiches and no drinks with mozzarella sticks but definitely worth the $13 for the gf sandwich though.
I had the spicy gabagool on the gf bread and it was to DIE FOR. I will 100% be back. I ordered via the QR code on the patio tables and they say “if celiac, put in the notes at the bottom”. My sandwich came out with celiac written on the paper. So delicious. Didn’t feel even a little bit of stomach grumbling that I usually get if there’s CC. 10/10 recommend! I am forcing myself not to go back already haha
Decent sandwich shop, with a lot fo cold sandwich options. The fryer is shared, and the flat top has significant cross contact possibilities, but the cold sandwiche options are pretty plentiful. They seem to have good food handling.
The bread is a cold gluten free roll, so it immediately crumbles as soon as you take your first bite. Delicious, but I wish they toasted the bread, so it had a chance to stand up against the awesome fillings. Also, the $1.50 GF roll upcharge is the same, regardless if you get regular size or hero size. If you get hero size, you get two individually wrapped sandwiches.
The GF sandwich came out marked as GF. I enjoyed it, and didn'tfeel sick afterwards. I would happily eat here again.
New in Raleigh Iron Works. Gluten free bun available and it was sturdy holding up the sandwich. The fries did use the same fryer so not good for cross contamination but she did ask if it was an allergy and made sure to note it to avoid cross contamination with the sandwich.
