Vegan items are gluten free and they confirmed that they are careful about cross contamination. Just be sure to ask for no creole bread. Their gluten free cornbread is much better anyway! Yum!

Echoing some of the other reviews here, the staff will let you know which options on the menu are gf or not. They also will change their gloves by request. The cornbread is a nice surprise since it's not usually an option, but I kinda like my own recipe better. Four stars because the food is sometimes great, and sometimes "just ok". Definitely a cool place though when you're looking for a nice change of pace.

About half the menu was GF. And the staff let us sample some of the options before ordering, the food was ok, and the GF cornbread was good. I didn’t get sick eating there.

This place is our new favorite! The food is SO good! They have 2 sides of the menu - 1 is all vegan and gf, 2 is meat options (some are gf). They also have gf cornbread. Risk of some cross contamination in the kitchen where the prepared food is all near the other, but the foods are made separately.

I would say it was “ok”, we had the same issue another diner mentioned previously with bread placed on the same plate as a GF entree. I found it odd that they said all the vegetarian entrees are GF but those with meat are not. Why? Also I asked if the entree I ordered would be spicy and they said no, but it was very spicy. I get that Creole food would be expected to have a kick so I suppose it’s all relative. My celiac daughter did not get sick, but she didn’t enjoy this meal and I was not confident that they understand what gluten is fully.

Server was awesome with my GF/DF requirements. The corn chowder and Devils Chilli were amazing. I saw them wiping down the bench and prepping mine separate to the other plates etc.Highly recommend!

Food was great! Only four stars because I told the server I had a gluten allergy and the first time they brought my food there was regular bread served alongside it. There was no mention of this bread on the menu so beware! They quickly fixed the issue though and I had not reaction.

The best creole food I have had outside of Louisiana, and my kitchen. Amazing staff. Allergy knowledge is on point. Gluten free creole that is to die for! Awesome atmosphere. Parking wasn’t bad at all. My kids even want to go back. The chef came out and met me because I loved his food! You will fall in love. You can even get half of two different plates if you can’t decide, and samples!!! Wow!!! New staple.

Never seen a place provide free samples before you order. Such a cool idea.

Very conscious of a variety of dietary restrictions.

The host guy was friendly and laid back and didn't mind all the allergy questions that can burden other places.

And the iced tea had simple syrup in the side to reach your own level of sweetness.

The cashier was so thoughtful! He heard about our need for gf and dairy free and let us sample things! Mmmm

funk music and quirky pics on the wall make for a fun quick cozy vibe.

We got two half-half plates to have four things and Arnold Palmers and a side of rice.

Friendly and thoughtful and these dishes are like stewa and so tasty!!

After a lengthy talk with the owner Jess I felt comfortable ordering lunch. All the vegan options were gf, and 3 of the meat options as well. I had the beef bacon stroganoff with gf cornbread - very tasty. I'm a sensitive celiac, and I didn't get any reaction to the meal.

Yummy, yummy comfort food, and the folks there were earthy, in touch with the meals they made. Took some talking, but since everybody was clear about what happened in the kitchen, it was such a good experience, and I trusted them. Yum.

They are very knowledgeable about what is in their food and keep a list of allergens near the ordering counter so employees can answer questions. They also have GF cornbread. The food is great and they have vegan options as well.
