Review of Efteling

I was able to buy chips and gluten free kroket at one of the park restaurants. The chips are done in a dedicated fryer and they cooked the GF snacks (they also had GF frikandel) separately. It took a bit longer so allow some extra time, but better to be safe than sorry. The guy at the counter said there was also a salad option in the sandwich bar that was GF, though I didn’t try that since the weather was cold and so I fancied hot food. I have also read on a Dutch coeliac group that you can get GF pancakes in the pancake place, and on the website they also say that most of the restaurants and some of the snack bars can provide GF options, though I didn’t try these myself. In short, you can get away without having to take a picnic which is a pleasant surprise!
