Quite disappointing GF selection. The (non-GF) pizza buffet was just three pizzas.
I had gluten free vegetable fajitas here on two occasions. The staff were knowledgeable about coeliac disease so talked me through the risks of cross contamination and may contain from the gluten free options. I am more limited because of being a vegetarian, but the food was delicious and I felt safe to eat here.
We had a lovely meal here. We were given an English menu and an allergen menu (this was in Norwegian, but item numbers matched up). Ordering was a bit confusing, but you do it at the bar so you can ask lots of specific questions. All fried food is prepared in a fryer with gluten containing items, so I was warned about this. We had Entrecôte with creamy potatoes instead of fries, and a sweetcorn hash with bearnaise sauce. It was delicious, and no after effects. Really cosy atmosphere and great service, would recommend.

Just about everything on the menu can be prepared gluten free. The menu does call out items containing gluten, but does not specify which are prepared safely free of gluten. Instead, gluten free customers must order from the bar rather than ordering online at the table. Ordering at the bar also ensures that the kitchen receives the GF or celiac note. I ate here several times during my stay in Tromos and had no problems with gluten. I particularly enjoyed the cod entree. I ordered this with small potatoes rather than fries (since the fryer is not dedicated to GF items).

The food is a bit basic and seems somewhat overpriced, but they offer a decent meal. You have to order food at the bar. Got a burger with a gluten free bun and ‘small potatoes’ instead of chips, because the chips are fried in a shared fryer.

Staff referred to the allergy menu which was extensive - every meal on the menu. No separate fryer so made my daughter potatoes instead of chips. Gf Hamburger bun was delicious. Also made notes for the chef on our order without having to ask. Felt very safe taking my daughter here. Upon asking most items can be modified to seemed like a lot of choice!
Awesome! They have a separate allergy menu and the server was super knowledgeable. She knew off the top of her head what couldn’t be modified and the vast majority of the menu could be. She asked if I was sensitive to cross contamination and noted it on the order. Very yummy!

Friendly staff that goes out of their way to help. No languages issues here for tourists. Was a great experience on a variety of food.

Separate menu for allergies, friendly staff who are conscious about gluten and good food.
Very nice restaurant! They have a detailed allergens list and menu with suggestions so a dish that wouldn't have been gluten-free can be made that way. Very gluten-free friendly in other words. They offer gluten-free hamburger, Italian pizza and tacos among other things.
