The icecream is very tasty! The employees know about celiac disease and take the ice cream from the back. For an additional 50 cents there is also a gluten-free icecream cone, which is individually wrapped. Das Eis ist sehr lecker! Great ice cream with GF waffle cones, and very knowledgeable service. They jumped right into GF super safe mode (fresh ice cream from back, clean ice cream scoop) and we all had delicious ice cream.

The most celiac friendly ice cream/gelato place I’ve been to in Heidelberg! They offer gf cones for an extra 50 cents and you can ask them to wash the scoop and scoop from a brand new tub in the back if they’re able. I’ve mostly gotten ice cream to go, but I did recently try their strawberry spaghetti eis. The menu for ice cream lists marks what contains gluten. Just be sure to tell them you’re celiac and not to add the waffle/cookie to your order if the menu lists the cookie in parentheses!

Had an ice coffee with vanilla and chocolate ice cream and a Mittlere Portion (3 scoops) with lemon, banana and raspberry gelato. All excellent. When you tell the server that you are a celiac, they will make sure the scoop is washed and may even get your ice cream from unopened buckets in the back.

The service here was so good. They can serve glutenfree cones. They also ask how allergic you are. In my case (celiac disease) they got icecream from a new batch so it was safe. Also the cone was from new packaging. Great service (very kind and helping) and great icecream.

The owner was very cautious about cross contamination and asked me if it was a choice or disease. She then took extra care. They had gluten free waffle cones.I made an insta glutenfreetravelstheworld. The ice cream was very creamy and perfect on a hot day!

I can only recommend this place. The service knows very well with celiac disease but also other intolerances such as lactose intolerance. There are gluten-free waffles and lactose-free ice cream. Simply fantastic!

Amazing service and I did not feel like a burden at all. They had gf cones and checked with me if my allergy was severe. They went to the back and scoop from new gelato bins to ensure no cross contamination. Gelato was delicious too. I had the cappuccino. My first ice cream cone in over a year!
